hallogal31 @hlong97404 keep it up! I hand stitched a Harley quinn costume about 16 years ago out of a pattern I made from cutting a pair of leggings and a nylon turtle neck in half and it is still a source of amusement when I look at all the silly fabric glued on fraying diamond cut outs and obnoxiously uneven and way too wide stitching I did.

hallogal31 @hlong97404 The most important thing I've learned is to never compare your work to anyone else's. Sometimes at bigger conventions, I've wanted to lock myself in my hotel room and toss out my work, or was still working on an impossible costume until midnight on day 1. It ruined many a CON. You'll get there 😘 it always shows when your heart went into it, no matter how much you are your own critic.

hallogal31 @orangedoors. One of my favorite people in the world cosplays Jupiter! My nickname at Minnesota conventions is "corrupt sailor moon " because someone let me use their whip on some guy one year while I was in a cheap sailor moon costume...for some reason it stuck lol
