Hi! I saw you gave a one star rating for the MCM pouch that I sold to you + that you thought it was faux leather/fake. It is authentic, I worked in Marketing/Events for MCM Worldwide in their NY office for over three years + during that time I purchased that pouch/purse. Could you please give me some more information/clarification on why you thought it was fake when you received it? I just want to make sure that I'm having clear communication on all the items in my closet. Thank you!

@ajameson6 Hi There, the bag seems fake because I was unable to fine it on the website when I searched the code inside the bag. Also your description said the bag was leather but one side is not, it’s a vinyl- like material. The logo also doesn’t look the same as on other black MCM bags. These are the reasons why I believe it’s fake. Is there a link you can send to prove its authenticity? I’d love to see it.

@pdowens hi, totally understand given these reasons. I used to work for MCM, this bag was a seasonal piece, sold out, and discontinued a few years ago as it wasn’t one of the pieces that they continue to make every season which is why it’s not on the website. MCM usually uses the same silhouette of bags and changes the material or color based on the season, this was from a Fall collection
