janbo565 Thank you for your interest in the vintage hat box but I can't go any lower. I paid over $40 for it. Bought it from a antique shop in Walnut Iowa. sorry I could not meet your price. I had already dropped it as well.

janbo565 @gooseygirl33 Well to me it is in very good shape for its age. there's the one area that I took a picture of but it's small. If you're still interested let me make sure I have a box that supports the size so it doesn't get damaged. You let me know if you want me to check further.

janbo565 @gooseygirl33 I would say the integrity of the hat box is very good. I see no weakness. no dents no tears. It's just that one little stain area which I always put to the back when I had it out for decoration.

janbo565 @gooseygirl33 before you buy it let me make sure I got the right box! I would not want it to be damaged in transit. It's late here. I'm in Iowa. So I'm going to go to bed but when I get up tomorrow I'll make sure. where would I be shipping it to?

gooseygirl33 @janbo565 So sorry didn’t see your message. Already bought it. Let me know if you have the right box and packing materials. The box that’s as damaged was only wrapped in tissue paper, and I think the pressure of it being stacked under other boxes is what caused the damage. It only takes one case of water on top to crush it. Pretty sure it needs to be wrapped in bubble wrap or something like it. Thanks!

janbo565 @gooseygirl33 I just got done wrapping it. It's in a big box with lots of bubble wrap. I think it's good. It will have fragile mark all around it. It's way under the 5 lb limit so shipping should be good. It either be shipped today or tomorrow. Thank you very much. You let me know how it gets to you. I'll let you know exactly if I ship it today or tomorrow.

gooseygirl33 @janbo565 The hat box arrived in perfect condition today, and I absolutely love it! Thanks for taking the time to package it safely and an extra thanks for the the beautiful tissue paper and note. I’m using it as a keepsake for my daughter— her hospital blanket, outfit she came home in, first pair of shoes, etc. It’ll be cherished for years to come❤️❤️❤️
