I just wanted to let you know that I’d remembered you’d been interested in the Junk Food “Skinny B*tch” shirt (exact shirt/color, but tank instead of short sleeved) ASO Lindsay Lohan. I have it posted now in my closet and it currently has an offer of $130 or $140 I think (I had no idea what to price it at since I couldn’t find others, but wanted to be honest & not make you think you needed to bid $500!).

katesnowden @releighfreya ugh that’s the problem; I wasn’t able to find comparable prices. I don’t mind if someone buys something from me and then sells it later and makes a LITTLE profit… but when I sold one of the most recognizable pieces from Gossip Girl (an alice + olivia dress worn by Blair) for $500, only to see the buyer - the same person using a different seller name - list it right after. Given how rare and that it was the exact same size dress, same size belt, it was def the one I had sold her.

katesnowden Anyway, she advertised it as “WORN ON GOSSIP GIRL” and “from Blair Waldorf’s wardrobe”. Implying it had been worn on set, of course. Setting up pics making it appear it was tagged for the actress. When someone asked if it was the same dress worn on set, obviously wanting to know if Leighton Meester herself had worn it, she answered with “yes it’s the exact same dress seen on her!”

katesnowden Answers were just vague enough she could likely/rightly claim she’d never said it was on the actual wardrobe set and worn by the actress for the scene if confronted. The buyer obviously believed it had been worn on set - given it sold for $1700! She tried AGAIN later (different name, same gimmick) to buy another GG piece from me, offering $150. Knowing she’d sell it for prb $750-$1000 but still wanting a sale, I countered $250 (more than fair, yet she declined). Oh well, good riddance!
