I look forward to meeting some remarkable people on here! A lil about me - 8.5 yrs ago, I purchased a condo I call home and adopted a 3.5 legged pup. I was a stock broker for over 11 yrs, but medical issues & a fatal car accident caused my life to drastically change (3 rare autoimmune diseases with no cure(s), lost 3 organs, a titanium rod in my right femur, 3 yrs of chemo, 2 yrs of IVIG, and plasmapheresis. I learned today (12/12/17) that I am getting worse, but everyday I wake up is a blessing

@hmsimon1 okay perfect. I was thinking either a keychain that will dangle from my coach purse, or a necklace. Oh! I never though about a nice dainty bracelet. I am not sure how that would look on a blacker though...? If you look at my pictures, I like dainty jewelry if that helps give an idea...? ☺🤗😍😘

@jmears4539 I think I found the perfect Watch piece to use less than an inch x 1/2" out of an antique watch....I have hundreds of parts to use, but this one just jumped out and said build me💕 it will be reversed both sides will be different so you can use it either way.

Little tucker is definitely a survivor and doesn't even know it - I know it sounds silly - but it makes me realize that I am no different than anyone else either - because - if a dog with a missing limb doesn't even let it bother him or get him down - why should I. :) he is so full of life - so I will be too. :) you only get one!!! ☺🐶🐾❤

@jmears4539 I was on a transplant list for six months. But by the grace of god my heart got stronger. I also have fibromyalgia and three herniated disc. But this does not compare with you. @otiszoe04 yes - Tucker has given me something to live for - I feel only fur baby owners really understand or know this. You have been through a lot and I am so happy your heart got stronger! Omg! That is fantastic. Now if only my body would listen to me when I tell it to stand. :) Tucker is so protective and smart! Whenever I stand up he immediately starts barks as if he is saying "sit down mommy before you pass out!". I love these babies. 🐶🐾💕 they are our lives! 🤗☺

Your pup is adorable!!! 3 organs? Which ones if you don't mind me asking. My dad had a heart transplant as a baby. When he passed he needed a new heart, a kidney, and a liver. I have partnered with Donate Life America and they have made me their first National VOICE. I'm very passionate about organ donation. So when I saw that in your post, I couldn't help but ask. @lauramichelle26 I'm sorry about your dad. :( the organs were: kidney, spleen, and pancreas. They were able to save my upper intestine (kind of) - there are a lot of things I can not eat anymore. That is so amazing about being their first national voice! I read about you when I got home. You are gorgeous, talented, and seem to have such a positive look in like which is so amazing!!! ❤️💕🐶🐾

I feel your pain cos I lost my mom & dad at a young age & I have no brothers or sisters, but I wish I had. I've learned a lot on my own with no help but by God's grace, & kids. @jen2rodriguez thank you. That means so much, right now. This last treatment on Friday didn't take, so it makes me pretty sad and frustrated 😢😤. I do not have POTS, but one of the fatal diseases I have is AAG which is a rare (approx. 100 people a year get it). It does not have a treatment or a cure - so I'm on experimental treatments - which are SO expensive! 😡

so by time we got her here (CO), cervical cancer; needed full hysterectomy, broken front leg (has healed), and now needs surgery to replace part of just 1 hip, then she's finally good to go. She's 100% PURE LOVER 💗, will meet anyone & just hit the ground & turn tummy up for petting😇--

@jmears4539 Sweetie I'm so sorry you have to struggle with so many things. Because of my own health conditions I have a lot of compassion for people. I think that's one thing we gain from our struggles--compassion & understanding. I've had my colon removed, have hashimotos, & POTS which has been quite disabling for me. Auto-immune issues (lupus & thyroid disorders run in our family). Would u mind telling me what AAG is? Not sure I've heard of it before.

@jmears4539 Scary almost not making it through the night! Do you need someone to sleep near you in case u need help? I'm constantly anemic, have heavy periods & with POTS I have low blood volume, my blood pressure & heart rate drops to nil, no colon makes me dehydrated & can't get my blood volume up, I need Infusions of saline & Iron often. I know the feeling of not getting enough oxygen--YUK. Hang in there💜. Always hope for the future😘

@jen2rodriguez omg! I am so glad I met you Jen...I have TWO forms of lupus as well, so you must know all about it then? I have lupus pneumonitis and lupus nephritis. AAG is autoimmune autonomic ganglianopathy. It causes me to not stand up. I got lupus pneumonitis and AAG at the same time. The pneumonitis was the one that almost killed me but because I couldn't stand up from the AAG (makes my very orthostatic) I blackout. I get IVIG infusions every week. I heard iron infusions are very painful.

@jen2rodriguez I am finally getting a hysterectomy on the 17th, after suffering from endometriosis since I was 13 (I wish I could have my own babies but I can't now...) You are a very strong person...wow. And losing your pup. :( my fur baby is my life - he helps me with most of my strength and when I'm sad. I don't know what I would do - I am so sorry. :(

I say I have POTS but its a little different from just POTS & I can't recall the name the cardiologist gave it but its similar like what u have--same symptoms, can't stand up without short black out. What I have is autonomic dysfunction. Taking showers is hell. The hot water opening blood vessels & holding my arms up to wash hair--I haven't passed out yet but I've thrown up during shower

I have been doing IVIG for years now- it's been a godsend but it wasn't quick to see results. I'm now on a very high dose (90g) infused over 13 hrs with lots of pre meds and slow rate. I'm on 'gram at meggiemyoung if you want to follow! Hang in there!

@happytosell005 it is like we are twins! Yes they are so amazing and just know that you need them. He gets me through a lot of rough days. I am slowly growing immune to my treatments however, and am going blind due to a rare eye autoimmune syndrome, so I will not be able to stand or see very soon. :( but just keep fighting right?!

I want to say something to you and hope it doesn't hurt your feelings in anyway. I also have been hurt in three accidents, been in two comas, I had cancer, etc. My point is this, you are a remarkable young woman and be proud of that. Others can learn from you and look up to you. I know it took me time to forgive the people who hurt me, but in time I took what had happened to me and changed things from a negative to a positive.
