rjrkbythebay @stefns32 it is a great site! I have found in the short time I have been on the site (I started shopping/researching the site in December 2016 and started selling in March 2017) that you get out of it how much you put into it. If you just list your stuff and nothing more you might get a few sales. If you list, share, interact with others then you will sell a lot more. Rachel

rjrkbythebay @stefns32 I just shared to your closet a great post from my closet where I asked experienced sellers to give me some tips and advice. If you read through that listing lots of good tips throughout! I have several other post in my closet that would also help give you some information like this.

I'm going to see how my stuff goes for the first week or 2 and if it seems to be going well, I'll probably go bargain hunting to build my closet with a variety of sizes :) I'm hopeful that it'll be a positive addition to my life in more ways than 1! I really appreciate you reaching out! Today is basically day 1 for me. 😊

rjrkbythebay @stefns32 you're welcome! I can give you tons of suggestions but I don't want to overwhelm you on day one LOL! Reach out as often as you need because questions will definitely come up and it's helpful to have a mentor to bounce ideas off of. One thing to always remember is to keep your closet "Compliant" (only sell things Poshmark allows). Rachel

rjrkbythebay @stefns32 are you on the app or on the web? If you're on the app click on the bottom right link which is your closet name and the very top thing you'll see is Guide to Poshmark. Read through that and you will find items that you are and are not allowed to sell. The quick version of do NOT sell: replicas, used make up, nail polish, perfume, used underwear, items other than clothing/accessories (no pet products, skin care, lotions, potions for wellness…).

rjrkbythebay @stefns32 Haha I know, right? Gross! But if you're on the site long enough you will see things that make your draw a drop. More than once people have been caught trying to sell live pets. I've seen couches, motorcycles, and other ridiculous things that you can't possibly mail through the US Post Office. If you can not legally mail it through USPS it is not allowed on Poshmark.
