carriekey I am contacting you about the Henri Bendel. It was like new both inside and out. I looked it over again to make sure. The leather was perfect. The inside was perfect, no stains etc and no scuffs on the leather (not one)damage as you describe had to occur in shipping or elsewhere and I wrapped and boxed it carefully. I take pride in my closet and 5* rating. Honestly I don't think my daughter carried it once.

bellairebell Hello, This is an unfortunate situation. I was surprised when I saw the scuffs. The inside and hardware is in perfect condition. My first thought was to return it, but I like the purse. The leather refinishing place thinks it can be refinished. It will be ready in 2 weeks, and then I will take the receipt to Henry Bendel in town for reimbursement. I have no idea when or where the scuffs occurred. Perhaps they occurred in shipping. I'm hoping for the best!
