@ursecretcloset I'm new to this and am asking very reasonable questions. I'm completely ignored. Is this common when I haven't offered anything yet see an item very damaged? I just asked if the price was negotiable. I don't find that insulting since I never mentioned the damage.

@kkcheese5 Sadly, yes it is very common. Sometimes people just don't check their accounts. When this happens to me, I often try to find the same item with another seller that will answer my questions. Usually those that are serious about Poshmark and selling will answer!

I also got very- let's say almost screwed- until a bank caught a fraudulent payment sent to me for items. I'm very cautious about e dry thing since then.

@kkcheese5 I was hesitant too at first. It is definitely worth your time when you put in the work especially since the processes of shipping orders and receiving payments are simple. The hardest part was getting my first sale.

@jamiestyle I had no problem getting my first sale. The problem was the check sent to me was fraudulent and lucky the bank teller caught it. I would've been out over $1600 plus another $1600 plus overdraft fees hadn't she caught the fake check. I would've had to pay back the $1600 . That's why it adds up to that much money. I'm scared that it's going to happen again.

And unfortunately, I'm stuck in court with this because the person who did this I have to testify against.

@kkcheese5 it's hard sometimes to keep up with the massive amount of like, shares that most closets get, your message could have just been missed by the seller. I've sold on many platforms and Poshmark is the best by far. It's ease of use, the smooth handling of the transactions and the large variety of items. Keep the faith and do you. Dee @ursecretcloset

@kkcheese5 I don't blame you for being concerned. Poshmark deals with the money part, in that the buyer has to have a valid card entered. Everything here is through the app only to prevent people from scamming. I'm sorry that happened to you.
