bargainsunite Thank you so much for your purchase of my Vintage Red Letterman’s Jacket!! My flight after Christmas was canceled to get home yesterday but I should be home on Wednesday night 12/29 (fingers crossed!!) I will mail the jacket to you immediately the next morning...sorry for that delay but it was out of my control!! Never expected so many flight cancellations....just terrible😱

bargainsunite I got the Varsity Jacket out of storage but saw that the pocket trim felt sticky? It never felt like that before so I googled it & learned it can happen to Vintage or old leatherette. It listed many home remedies for this but I was unsure if you still want to buy it? I can include $10 in the mailing if that would help with the remedy but, first please let me know if you still want it before I mail it out(?) Otherwise, for a used very Vintage item, it is in amazing condition!

bargainsunite @tinammartinez OMG, I didn’t realize that! I’m sorry but I didn’t know what to do! PM sent me a reminder to mail it and I explained I was waiting to hear back from you first, they then responded that if I wait, it would mess up my one day ship average. They said I could cancel then if you decided otherwise, I could just sell it to you afterwards! Since it was during the holiday, I wasn’t sure if you even got my message or when I’d hear back, so I canceled it! When will you get your refund?

tinammartinez @bargainsunite Considering that I was understanding about your delayed shipping due to a flight issue on your end I would have expected better service on your end. The reason for the shipping issue was your fault, not mine. Basically bad service all around.

I rented a car & DROVE home bc I didn’t know when I’d ever get home by air otherwise & just to mail out ur jacket The 1st THING I did was to get the jacket from storage. Then, I saw that area of stickiness & had to tell you! I did that all in minutes of getting home after driving for 15 hours! THAT is SUPERIOR service! I was prompt, communicative & honest for your sole benefit, not mine. I rather lose a sale than upset a buyer.

bargainsunite @tinammartinez NO WORRIES! But,now we know VTG leatherettes can get a bit sticky (Google it). It’s ONLY on the 2 int/ext pocket TRIM. There’s home remedies/products like Goo-Gone that’s recommended for this. The jacket’s in amazing VTG condition. NO pilling, holes, snags & the hood lining is a nubby soft pile (like a stuffed animal after it’s been washed) w/ no issues, either. If you want it, I’ll take $50 I have another offer (off PM) but YOU were first so, just LMK!

bargainsunite @tinammartinez Ok! I’ll post it tomorrow...what timeframe is best for u (Eastern Time) to wait for it to be posted? I just need to get it out of storage again so, I will repost anytime after 11:00am (ET) The fabric is 80% Wool (recycled), 15% unknown recycled fibers, 5% other fibers, nylon lining and polyester innerlining. The trim is faux leather...like leatherette/vinyl. Made in USA

bargainsunite @tinammartinez Yes, it’s red but not bright. It’s closer to a brick red. It has a boiled wool rugged texture and there’s a little flaw in the fabric that I noticed before storing it today.. at the rear upper arm. I’ll post a pix of that for u to see. The snaps down front, the stripes on the cuffs and hem and the faux leather trim (that’s sticky) at the pockets are white but with a bit of an ivory undertone. The hood nubby pile lining is white and the quilted lining is blackish navy
