I wash everything and then I package it up like you saw so thats the only thing I can think of is it sitting in the plastic protective poly mailer. But I apologize and I hope you still like the top. I just wanted you to know it wasnt intentional and I pride myself on what I sell to people that it's a good quality item for the price. Take care and thanks for your business.
