sebq Just handed your package to the mailman so you are all set. I wrapped and re-wrapped with lots of bubble wrap and newspaper and that packing plastic you wrap up large quantitative of things. Should have it by Wednesday or Thursday the latest but I think Wednesday 😊

sebq His episode that started all this was 9/23/17. We were in sooo many hospital including Univ of Miami where there top dr cut aortic valve during a routine procedure. I am a nurse and he is staying alive bc of an IV running 24/7 that I change every 3 days. We have a transplant dr looking for a heart bc it will have to be from a man at least 6’ 8” with same blood and tissue

sebq That’s wonderful news. But a kidney and heart I don’t have room to go into the difference. Sam’s need for such a big guy puts his options way down but I believe God will take care of him. His heart is in failure and his IV is keeping him alive for now. He’s young so that’s on his side

sebq You say your husband had a kidney transplant that was not a match. Not a match how, blood?, Tissue? With the heart there are too many variables and this guy is the head transplant dr and gets first choice on hearts. He’s at Cleveland Clinic My husband needs a donor at least 6’ 8” with same blood and tissue. Chances drop due to size. God will pull him thru. I know it

cubannfree123 @sebq it’s called a “AB Non-Compatible” Transplant. The donor was not even the same blood type. This doctor at GWU Hospital is a pioneer in this field. In addition, being a cancer patient, my husband had been on several cancer drugs, one being Velcade. Thankfully, this drug helps lower the titers so that helped against rejection. I can’t tell you how many miracles took place for him to be where he is today. But, you’re right, the kidney is different from the heart.

sebq My husband was born with WPW which is a weed, for lack of a better term, that grows in the electrical system of the heart. You can be resting watching TV and suddenly your heart rate jumps to 280 beats a minute or higher. When we met his mom said prayer healed him but after the first episode I saw I told her I’m all for prayer but he’s not healed....next part

sebq Being a Registered Nurse I spoke to many Drs and when I was doing a travel contact in Nevada I was fortunate enough to work with a cardiologist who specializes in WPW. Normally an episode last a few minutes but he had episodes lasting 6-7 hours. Being that the heart is a muscle and although the dr corrected it, I believe his heart was worn out. He had been getting short of breath but I was asleep usually when he got home at night so he hid it from me. Next...

I found him in another room on the floor gasping for a breath. I grabbed him and rushed him to closest hospital where I was told he was in cardiac failure. They admitted him but I’m a strong nurse and knew these drs were not for him...next

sebq I took him to the GREAT Univ of Miami hospital and I got the dr who was head of transplant. During a routine cardiac cath he cut his aortic valve and when I demanded a cardio thoraic consult he denied me. He was afraid I’d sue and wanted to redo Sam the next day. I refused and brought him home. We ended up at Cleveland Clinic where he received great care and told the condition of his heart required transplant...next

sebq They kept him in ICU two weeks and ran every test you can think of to be sure he wasn’t sick any other way. They found a huge growth on his left lung and I panicked thinking cancer but after removing 6 inches of his lung to remove it they ran all kinds of tests on it and found it to be an old infection. He was discharged home with a PICC line and a continuous IV which I change every 3 days....next

sebq They also put him on about 6 meds and he is doing beautifully but the donor requirements bcuz of his size requires a man about 6’ 8” with the same blood and tissue match. This narrows his base of donors bcuz to get a man that size who matches Sam isn’t often. I pray he stays stays status quo while we wait for that much needed call. We sleep with the phones by our bed and we cannot travel far bcuz we will need to go straight to Cleveland Clinic.

cubannfree123 I just looked up WPW. I can’t believe I never heard of it; I have bundle branch block. He played professional football with that condition. And then that UM surgeon! My sister in law was at Jackson where they caused a pneumothorax. BTW, I dreamt last night that my friend Scott, a 6’4” former College Volleyball player, was killed in a car crash! Can you imagine! But that’s the kind of person you would need. Obviously, you’re in my thoughts, as well as my prayers!

sebq I packed everything as neatly as you always see things in my closet but should they wrinkle I do apologize. When I got near the top and still had the purse and jacket to get in I put as many free clothes as I could fit. Keep what fits or you like and get rid of the rest. I have a bunch more I’m keeping aside for you but it just wouldn’t fit. The necklace is in the passport holder that goes around the neck. 😊💞

sebq I have a lot of new t-shirts that are mostly medium but being 5’ 9 1/2” tall at 127-130lbs I just tend to run thin. Nothing I do special, just good jeans. My daughter is my height and if she weighs 112lbs I’m pushing it. Her husband is filthy rich but a real a-hold and a narcissist so she is always walking on eggshells although she won’t ever admit it.....

sebq My daughter has said I want babies when I grow up since she could talk so her twin baby boys are her life. Every time I’ve seen her since she lives in MA she is thinner with bags under her eyes. He just built their 3rd Mansion, 8 BR, 10 bathrooms on 8 acres. All she has and it’s showing in her health.....

cubannfree123 Oh, no, please, feel free to vent. My heart breaks for you and your daughter. I didn’t realize you lost your family when you were young. I just had my mother (and 8 half siblings—all but one from my dad’s side—but I lived alone with my mom till college.) But I had her until I was 54. I was so fortunate.

sebq I also put some extra jewelry, nothing fancy, but one earring needs a post. I also enclosed 2 lucite charms which can be hung by ribbon or chain or whatever. There is a way to tie the pendant on so it hangs straight. I can demonstrate if they like them and don’t know how.. I apologize for wrinkled things but had to roll up some items to fit. sebq When I ask her what did I do she only says, “you know.” I don’t know but I know it’s her husband telling her to only have his parents around and to avoid Sam and I. She and Sam were always extremely close yet she hasn’t once called him to see how he is and she knows he could die. I am depressed and handling more than I can bare but Sam needs me and I have to fight my pain for him...

sebq If I text her she might text back angrily asking what do I want. I’ve cried to her telling her I love her and need her more than ever but all she says is she’s too busy. I ended up in the hospital a few weeks ago bcuz I collapsed and I remember nothing until I woke up in the ER...

sebq They told me my potassium was critically low and wanted to keep me in the hospital but I had to sign myself out bcuz I have to take care of Sam’s IV everyday, give him numerous pills, check his vitals, take him to the hospital weekly and many other things. I texted her and told her and heard nothing back...

Did you not visit when she wanted you to or when the babies came, anything he could have turned around and used to make you look bad in her eyes? She sounds like she is not very strong. I guess we have to rely on the power of prayer to soften hearts and know that God has a plan, even if we sometimes have no idea what it is!

sebq @cubannfree123 I lost 2 babies after Tracy and was devastated so I doted on Tracy. When she gave birth to the boys Sam & I were there. Sam at the time had to get back home for work but bc o was teaching state boards for nursing students I made my own hours so I stayed north with her and the babies. Her husband treated me so bad and I was so uncomfortable ....

sebq While she was in the hospital I stayed at their home and went looking for Tylenoband found a bunch of his prescription drugs and being a nurse I knew then I was right. They were all psychotropic drugs for agitation, mood swings etc. the only thing 2 years ago was she said her husband was coming to the keys and wanted us to join him but bcuz I have a spinal stenosis that day I was getting an epidural block.....

sebq I tried to explain I wasn’t allowed to ride a distance in a car or go on a boat. The text from her regarding this trip she claims was from her husband but I know how my daughter talks and it was her texting on his phone. Bcuz we had to dr Lin’s she went off on Sam on the phone and all Sam managed to say was, “Tracy, c’mon,” and she hung up on him and I know it was her husband giving her grief.......

Finally about 8 months later after not hearing anything I began texting pleading to let me know she was alright and what I got back brought me to my knees. She texted back she was busy moving to her newly built home with 18 people and didn’t have time for me. I broke down crying that she was moving and didn’t tell me.....

sebq Like I said, this was the most loving child in the world. If I even spoke about my death one day she would cry and throw her arms around me saying no no, you won’t ever die mommy. Now she doesn’t respond even to ask if I’m ok since I left the hospital. Didn’t even respond. He stole her and I don’t know how to pull her back. I lost her Victoria and I have to fight for Sam now 🙏

sebq Once years back, maybe 5, her husband, with my daughter and his parents present her husband started grilling me that he never knew her dad and how does he know there isn’t any mental health problems in our family. It was all I could do to say nothing about his psychotropics he was taking plus his mom’s mom was clinically crazy. I met her and even her husbands mother told me she had schizophrenia yet he was grilling me if his children ever had mental problems it would be from our family

sebq I held my tongue for my daughter. I cry everyday of my life for her and the boys and even went to a therapist. The therapist told me she would only see me if I was willing to learn how to grieve the loss of my daughter bc she said I’ve lost her to a narcissist and unless she wakes up in her own there’s nothing I can do. How do I grieve a living child?

sebq One more thing, do you know her husband has NEVER said my name, NEVER had a conversation with me other than when he grilled me about not knowing if there was any mental illness in our family since he didn’t know her dad and meanwhile he himself has mental health issues and his grandmother was schizophrenic. sebq I was just re-reading the story about your husband and how you call him your bionic man. I am so glad he did and hopefully is still doing great. My husband is presently still awaiting a donor match. Problem is his blood type is only 16% of population and donor must be about 6’ 8” to match his chest size. Praying to God daily.
