I'm a self diagnosed shopping addict. i buy far too much and if that's not a big enough problem, i never give anything up! During the pandemic, i decided to get organized, or at the very least, try. which is how i began Poshing. i get a great thrill out of giving my things new homes, where they'll be appreciated and loved. Ive recently been given live show permission, and am slowly dipping my toes into going live, I've done a few silent shows, I'm so nervous to be on camera.... hope to see you in my closet soon! lorimarq65 @poshmima great tips, thanks so much! one thing that confuses me is the shipping decrease--if we decrease the shipping, does that come out of our share of the profit? how do you offer free shipping--do I simply pay for that shipping fee myself?

poshmima Thanks for asking. The shipping costs are a huge thing for people. If you decrease to the $9.99 shipping discount it costs you the $3, or if you offer free shipping it costs you $13 plus tax from your profits. so for example if you have a $20 item and offer free shipping; first Poshmark takes their $3.95 plus tax and then take off another $12.99 so your take is less than $3. Many people do not understand this. Poshmark does cover the $3 discount on Closet Clear out once a week or so.

poshmima On Closet clear Out you offer a discount of a minimum 10% off your price and Poshmark sends out an offer to your likers for $3 off shipping at their cost. So its a good day to offer deals.

lorimarq65 @poshmima when you lower your price on an offer, it will not let me do that without lowering the shipping as well, is there something that one does to get around this? for example: girl a likes my listing, so I send her an offer of 10% off, then I hit submit it whatever, it won't let me send without hitting that 9.99 or free shipping, is there a way to get around the shipping discount is what I'm looking for?

poshmima There are 3 options when you send the offer. $12.99, $9.99 or free shipping Use the $12.99 and it does not affect your price.

gladrags1963 Hi! So no, sadly you have to share one item at a time. Make sure you do it after every sale in order to keep your sold items at the bottom. Because most people do this, they stop scrolling through your closet once they see a sold item, assuming the rest are sold. When you like ❤️ an item know that the seller will send you an offer. So ❤️ has come to mean that you’re interested in purchasing.😊

lorimarq65 now, and I just started this in late January/ early February of this year. I was hoping there was an easier way of sharing my own closet though! I keep mine in categories (as best I can). again, thanks so much for the help! I threw a package in the mailbox last week, and it somehow got lost ( not tracking) I usually take it in to po, but had little grandkids with me, I dunno what to do, I called po but she said most likely it's on it way, but no proof of her going to get it?!?
