This was my dream wedding dress. From Monique Lhuillier’s Spring 2011 collection. A mermaid dress made of hand-embroidered ivory alcenon lace with pearls running down the back. Comes with Monique Lhuillier veil (so that the lace on the edges of the veil matches the dress). The dress was special ordered (bodice size 8, skirt size 6) and professionally altered so that the mermaid skirt could be removed for dancing (it is also bustled). Professionally dry-cleaned and stored with a form.

rayraybayray First two photos are from the ML lookbook, remaining photos are me. REST ASSURED I did not walk onto the grass or the sand in the dress - it was carefully lifted and placed for photos. My measurements at the time were 34E-27-34. No cups in the bodice.

rayraybayray Other than making the skirt removable, the length was not altered (I am 5’9 and wore 4 inch heels). I am not a seamstress, but I think that shortening it would be fairly easy without ruining any of the lines.
