coolbritney @shopgirlvic hey! I would say it's medium weight, not overly heavy, but more substantial than silk/ satin. I just added a photo showing the layers. The part of the dress you see is printed, not actually embroidered, so it's not as thick as it would be with embroidery thread. There's a layer of tulle inside that gives the skirt structure, and then a thin, soft layer on the very inside so it's still comfortable.
