I'm the only income & I lost my job due to the severity of my conditions. I lost my health insurance & am paying out of pocket for 8 meds. We've lived here for 13 years with a PERFECT payment history. Plus he does NO repairs in my apartment (but does in renovated ones) and the "deal" was "if you're always honest with me, I'll do my best to work with you". So I paid to fix my own minor AND major repairs for 13 years (no reimbursement) and when I told him my whole story (honestly) and offered to add the rent I was behind on in small payments added to my regular rent. He read my whole story and said "sorry to hear that, I need all 3 months plus $150 in late fees". So I lived in a run down apartment, doing my own repairs for 13 years so he could tell us to get out the first time I actually need to "work with him". So now we owe $4,500 and he sends a letter that we just received today, so we're supposed to pay him that much in 10 days. If I'm homeless, I'll be dead in a day because of my conditions. I don't have family other than my son. He and I will be split up for the first time in 20 years. So at this point, if you can help me get $4,000 in donations...I'll ditch this apartment and get one with s normal landlord that isn't falling down.
