desmith0927 Hi!!! I do know the price of this from the factory but I also know it’s sold out anywhere online or for pickup anywhere within 100 miles of me so I understand the price. Also that 20% is downright painful sometimes lol I was wondering if this is a firm price or if you’d consider lower? I am obsessed with this backpack

And while I do know it was $70, you can’t get it anywhere it was actually sold for that and these people are here to make money and poshmark gouges them

desmith0927 You can’t expect them to sell something and make less than they even paid for it. Either way, I managed to get it on another seller platform for $80 so I’m one happy girl!!! And trust and believe that was after seeing it out of stock at every other major retailer that sells loungefly bags!! Either way, it’s not ok to call someone out for prices. ESP when you aren’t a seller so you obviously aren’t understanding what we go through and the amount taken from us!

desmith0927 @wildrainbow448 when you aren’t selling anything on Poshmark you couldn’t possibly understand what we go through, the amount it costs us to sell things, and the crazy amount of $$ Posh takes from us, it isn’t ok to call someone out for prices on their listings or tell someone where to get it cheaper.

desmith0927 ESP when you can’t get that particular one for much cheaper when it’s sold out EVERYWHERE. I’m not trying to be mean it’s just genuinely rude to do that especially publicly. Also, it’s worth it to note that most Poshers are sellers themselves so they more than understand the pricing and reasoning for it. Doing that isn’t only rude, it’s counter productive.

desmith0927 @jamdoty sorry to go off on a rant on your listing. People are just so rude and I can’t stand it especially when they are lacking the facts/experience to even speak on the matter. She isn’t a seller, literally has nothing listed or sold ever, and a quick google search (or just search, as she put it and encouraged) would have told her this bag is no longer available where she claimed it so easily and cheaply would be. 🙄🙄🙄 Grrr!

jamdoty @desmith0927 Exactly!!! With poshmark’s cut and the cost of shipping it in the first place I’m not making a lot lol. Which is fine, I’m not a fan of price gouging, but things are priced the way they are for a reason. And did she not read the agreement at all for this app? 🤦‍♀️ I’m only trying to survive a pandemic, just like everyone else.

desmith0927 @jamdoty exactly!! As I said, anyone who actually “matters” will understand the way things work here. What she did is definitely very clearly against Poshmark’s etiquette code. Even if it wasn’t, it should be against a normal moral compass. I don’t understand what makes someone think that’s the right thing to do. You’re not helping anyone esp when your suggestion will only show a lower priced item that is IMPOSSIBLE to buy at the lower price because it’s sold out 🙄

Hopefully it’ll make her think twice before exercising what she probably views as some sort of twisted “vigilante justice.” She’s literally not helping anyone. Suggesting impossible to actually get “better options.” People suck!
