North Sea Clothing Expedition Shawl Sweater - Vintage Mariner Style - Very Nice!

This is a fantastic garment put out by North Sea Clothing circa 2015. Color is an off-white - ecru. Modeled after the vintage knitwear worn by sailors in the 1910s and '20s. Features include: -Made in the U.K. -heavy-knit fabric of 100% pure wool (very warm) -large portions of ribbing at the cuffs and waistband. -a generous shawl collar -vintage style button Originally sold for 240 British Pounds via North Sea's website or $350 through American retailers. Condition: Worn once and then stored. In great condition. The only item of note is a small aberration on the back left--not sure if it is a hole as no threads appear to broken. Measurements: Tagged size 38 A general slim fit Chest: 20.5" Shoulders: 17 1/8" Sleeve (from should seam to end of cuff when uncuffed): 25 3/8" Back length (from collar seam to bottom): 25.25" -Slim fit. About the brand: North Sea Clothing started as the go-to source for original World War I Era sweaters—then they became really hard to find, so the brand started making their own, using the exact specifications of the British military-issued designs. They've since expanded their line to other things, but they still maintain their commitment to utilitarian quality (which is why we like them). This heavy shawl sweater is made in England with an authentic ribbed waist—just like the vintage piece it's based on.
