Hi! I'm Lisa. I’ve been collecting vintage costume jewelry for over 4 decades. I also have 1980’s and 90’s vintage clothing for sale. ALL of the items in my closet are mine or my sisters in which we wore in the 80’s and 90’s. Poshmark takes a 20% fee...please take that in to account when asking for a discount as I too know that you pay the postage. If you go to the upper left corner of the main feed screen there is a group of lines. Touch or click on these and they'll bring a small screen to chose markets. Luxury is the bottom one. Click on that and you are there. I normally stay in the all market, because it displays everything

littlebithad12 Yours are just as amazing. All you need, is self promotion by self shates, following, and sharing other people's items. We're a team. Many will share back if you share one of theirs. It helps both of you. I share off the main feed. About every third picture there is an area of groupings with a blue follow icon. I touch follow, pick a picture, and share it. Be careful, because the share icon on these is in the upper right corner between two others. The Bottom right icon is the BUY NOW.

littlebithad12 Finally I can get on this site after trying for a hour. Don't sweat it. She doesn't have it in her closet. Poshmark gives the customers 72 hours exactly for them to accept delivery. They even email them after the 2nd day. If the person does not accept delivery, by the end of the third day. The next day you get your money. With me was that the woman had it on her site without accepting it and could have sent it back if it didn't sell that weekend.

littlebithad12 I had that happen with my second sale. Even if they don't accept it after 3 days they lose the right to return it and Poshmark pays you any way. Poshmark will email them on the second day saying they need to accept it. It could be they were out of town. This is why I watch the tracking. I messed up and sent two packages to the same lady.

littlebithad12 I would have never known this if I had not been watching it track. I was in contact with both ladies and Poshmark. Poshmark straightened it out and unbelievably, both ladies gave me 5 stars. Just last week I sent a package to CA and the post office sent it to KS. I stayed in contact with the lady and she gave me 5 stars.

littlebithad12 Great idea! Just make sure they are neatly displayed...in other words ironed if necessary. Also take measurements...really important. List brand name first in the what you are selling, there's about room for one more word to be seen after that at first glanceb then it goes ... The person has to open the listing to see the rest of the description. You want to catch the important part of the description...like sheer or Sepra.

littlebithad12 I'm sure you've seen the wrinkly ones in other listings...it's a turn off to me. Get creative with the descriptions and list the fabric blends. Some people are allergic to different fabrics. I sold 9 things friday!

I asked if a XXL t-shirt was junior size or women’s and I should’ve asked the material..the lady said it would fit if i wore XL and it was more like a medium and no tag on it and it was polyester and not cotton t-shirt material!! I gave it to my friend who wears medium! I decided not to send it back because I should’ve asked questions!

littlebithad12 Seersucker is wrinkly. I'm meaning cotton or something that is supposed to be smooth. The ironing instructions are on the washing label. As far as size, I bought a cute pair of shoes and the lady said they were a 6.5. O couldn't get my toes in them. I didn't send them back either. Just gave them away...darn it they were so cute! Plus sizes really sell! So many of the clothes are XS or S.

littlebithad12 I think most people are honest about things, they just guess. Different Manufacturers have Different Measurements for the same size or like in old navy jeans a 4 is too big on me and in levis it is just right. Same size different dimensions. This is why measuring is so important and the buyer can't come back and complain about the wrong fit, because it is listed.

They tease me up here and call my place Geiser Farm, because I have two old guys renting space from me. Both of them would be homeless, otherwise. Here a travel trailer has to be no older than a 2006 to get into a park and there's a huge housing shortage and very high rents here!😠

When you are finding clothes to post; just because you find something that you would definitely not want to wear as your ghost clothes, someone else will love! It has happened to me a lot! My first yardmate looked at a campground which charged 700, with no electricity, shower, or anything. That was a state campground! I live alone and having someone else on the property makes it safer!

I find the creeper infuriating, not only because he is out there, but mostly I cannot sit on my back porch at night. Thankfully, he doesn't show up much anymore!

littlebithad12 @lcaputo86. Creeper. It lights cigarettes and smokes pot. My yardmate's dog let's me know when he is out there. I actually am pretty sure who it is. The guy who used to own the property. He's never figured out he doesn't own it anymore. He's pounded on my new yardmate's door several times, because he is parked on the side where we had had a land dispute. We're putting up cameras. I feel the same way about my animals. I can't bear the thought of losing them.

My dad passed away 25 years ago and my brother and I stayed to help my mom. She just turned 80 and still makes all the homemade food. We are in a small town but it’s successful for such an underpopulated area. My other 3 siblings moved out of state for jobs so I felt the need/guilt lol to stay and be tortured.

littlebithad12 @lcaputo86. I retired when I was 44. My daughters had graduated and were working. I worked with all men 99% of my life; at the power plant they were still in the early 20th century. I complained to this guy about doing my work to impress the boss. He said I was racist. Went to the union. I was hazed for the 3rd time. I had the money, so I flat retired. I listen to the cars going down this little highway in the morning and wish I had a job. This is why I do Poshmark. Retirement is so boring!

littlebithad12 @lcaputo86. That is so cool! My new yardmate, who I've known almost since I moved out here 10 years ago, is pushing to make my little farm turn into a farm again. He's 78...but then has been 78 for a couple of years😹 and was booted out of an animal sanctuary, because He was "To OLD." He knows farming and animal husbandry. I inherited 31 chickens when I bought the place, but lost them all in a dog attack. It broke my heart. I'm going to do it! My grandson will help us, too!

So she’s going to have 2 of each animal but right now she has 3 donkeys, 3 alpaca, 3 goats, 1 sheep, 2 dogs and she started with chicks but just like yours-her Rott killed them! My little daughter, not my grandson's mother, (who is a piece of work), wanted me to turn mine into a wedding venue, but Jerry is moving his horses in as soon as we get the electric fence up. There is a building which I will eventually turn into a studio apt. In front of it is a newly cleared .25 acre. We'll put the garden there and the chicks in the barn coup to grow up. I'm going to get a pair of goats to rent out for weed abatement.

littlebithad12 I know a lady who does it up here. Blackberries are considered and evasive weed in OR. They have no natural predators and grow from root systems spreading underground. Goats love blackberries and their mouths are not harmed by the horrible thorns. If fact I use goat skin gloves to clear them out, so I only rarely am stuck!

littlebithad12 Yes they do! It is stinky, but a lot of the time they get caught with something they can't sell...like that woman I told you about with the sweater. Last time I looked it was still on her page. Sell it, but be sure to make at least 15% profit on it, since they are low balling you. Make a counter offer and stick by it. It's like those shoes I just sold, some one else will buy it!

In the short time I have been in business, another sign that someone is only buying your item to resell at a higher price is they ask a million questions or ask for more pictures! One question is fine, but more than three is a red flag! Never have additional pictures have made anyone buy. It is just a waste of time for that sale.

I just had a guy offer me $15 for my sisters vintage shirt and I had $32 on it so I counteracted with $26. He never responded. That was hilarious about the napkin thinking it was a turtle ha ha!!!

Darn thing is I have to check them over, shave one, and pack them in just 3.5 hours. I then have to drive 20 miles to get them to the Distribution Center before 2, to get them out today! littlebithad12 Miss bug was at the post office yesterday when I stopped by for my mail and to swipe boxes ! I even looked all around for a camera around the boxes so I wouldn't get caught sneaking 11 out the door!!! Couldn't see one! Yay. I waited until this morning to open her, because a major cleaning frenzy took ahold of me! Was just going to sweep and swap out the littler boxes. littlebithad12 You listed the measurements and it is not your fault that they didn't bother to read them. Poshmark doesn't get involved if it doesn't fit as long as the person receives the size which they ordered! We are all built differently and manufaturers sizes are varied for the same size, but when you list the specific measurements...it's her problem...not yours!

I had a woman complain, her shirt smelled of cigarettes. What she was smelling was the sandalwood incense I use in the house. It's 89 years old and the old girl has the old house smell! She just wanted something free!

littlebithad12 The Reid is my ex husbands name. The courts refused to let me go back to my maiden name! When my dad, as an infant came over, they kept the Inverso, but changed the spelling of his name to the american Michael. His mother was a Cica and they settled in Niles, Ohio which is near Columbus. He was very quiet about the family, so this is about all I know. He refused to let us learn Italian and never once said anything about his ethincity, other than he was an American!

littlebithad12 I think you are right about the mob thing and when he was young Italians were really discriminated against. All I kniw is that he grew up on the ghetto. He worked his way straight out of it. At the time of his death he was the foremost veterinary pathologist in the country! I am still fighting with that bundle. littlebithad12 Easter is my favorite day! It was warm and sunny here. Unfortunately, I have allowed my sister really turned me off on going to Mass. She is " pious" and even stands on street corners passing out rosaries, while she is just down right mean and hateful. When I divorced I knew I would be excommunicated and have no idea of how to get that marriage annulled. I truly miss it. Yet, I still take Sundays slowly, celebrate lent, and most of all pray, constantly. I had a good day, too!

I just talked to the lady and I'll be going there this afternoon to pay it! She will be so surprised when I put the receipt in her shower card! She's really upset, because I gave her sister my truck. She desperately needed a car, which didn't take 45 minutes to warm up enough to go into gear. She works at night.

littlebithad12 It is such a beautiful morning here right now! I have a chronic illness which flares up and is very painful. I forgot my cursed pain pill last night. I woke up in great pain. I was going to put my business on hold indefinitely, so I could wallow in self pity. I picked up my phone to do so, but decided to check my sales, first! Wouldn't you know it; I just had a sale!!! LOL! As my dad would say "There's a method in this, somewhere!" I took the pain pill and will feel better.

littlebithad12 Yes he was! I miss him so. He was quiet and strong. He got out of the mafia infested neighborhood he grew up in, unscathed. I feel better already! They say pain makes people depressed and I have found this is very true. I just hate having to be dependent on the pain medicine, but with it I can function and not spend the day in bed. I'm still selling long sleeves. I have a few more to put up and was going to hold off until the fall, but not now!🐑

littlebithad12 Things have been busy and I'm fighting a flare up. I had boxes to go to the post office on Monday, so I rushed off leaving my pain meds on my back porch. This tweaker, (what they call meth addicts here), who is taking advantage of my renter with early dementa, (who is forbidden to be on the property, because of this), snuck onto the property, pounded on my other renters door looking for her phone, then disappeared, my other renter was gone. Long and short of it, 15 days of pain meds are gone.

littlebithad12 I just talked to my doctor's assistant and they are going to see if the pills can be replaced.🤔. The wedding shower went great! My daughter cried when she saw her gift! Of course, the future mother in law started screaming, "Well did you pay for this? Did you pay for that?" I have never heard her outside voice, but her conversational voice can be heard in the yard with the doors closed. Seeing my daughter's face was wonderful! The earrings are so pretty I think I'll keep then for myself!

I'll be two days shy of a refill and will spend those two days in bed, if need be. Sometimes I don't need them at all. I'm a little hesitant about a sheriff's report. I am not exactly allowed to have occupied travel trailers on my property, I think. The county knows, but they are turning a blind eye on it right now and I don't want that to change.

Bo is working back to back doubles, just in the hopes of making enough to make the expenses. Found out the woman is either high, drunk, or both most of the time. littlebithad12 I think 150 to 175. The bride's side is going to have one chair! My youngest is the maid of honour and my grandson is a groomsmen. I tried to shame my ex-husband into coming, this afternoon. I gave him so many options to his excuse of not having the money for them to get there. littlebithad12 I wasn't wearing my seatbelt, even though something told me to. I hit the top of the windshield going about 45mph. I flew across the gear shift and emergency brake. I came to when a really nice man was tapping on the window. It was on the interstate at rush hour. The traffic was blocked off to load a lady into the ambulance and it was going to take off, when I got out of my car and walked across. The look on the deputies faces told me they had left me for dead.

littlebithad12 As near as my doctor in TN could figure at the VA, I was out at least 30 minutes. I don't know why the man was knocking on the window. His name was Charles Luna, he gave me his card. He saw the accident and stopped. He was a jeweler in LA. I think he was almost an angel. As I hit my head my last thoughts were "...so this is what it is like to die," then "Hail Mary..."

littlebithad12 I feel great! The cold is finally gone. The earache is leaving and I found out who infected the community. She is a clerk at the little cafe up here. One man has died from it and another is in the hospital. She told me today, "Oh, I've had it for 4 weeks, now and I cough so much I can't get sleep." All martyr and everything. No cars on the little highway, just the sound of the river as it rushes by. The air is fragrant with lilac, locust blooms, and a few roses. I may not get to see Garth, but the peace is incredible!

They also remember the much awaited vacation to the coast which was ruined, because one of my coworkers came to work the whole time he was sick, (even bragged about it ). We drove the coast. It was about 16 miles away. I was so sick on the way back that we had to pull into a hotel for another night. They were under 10. I was fit to be tied!

littlebithad12 I bought 2 antique perfume bottles and a fully intact antique oil lamp. when she went for change, she opened a huge box filled with mostly 20's. I told her at the time to move it. After I dropped Gavin home I had a huge urge to return. That box was still full on the table! I carried it into the house for her. Some dude had slid up and opened it before she hardly notice, saying how much was made. Gave my daughter a lawful order to go check on them and she has. They're armed.

I was trying to catch the other one, which was in the pen to put him in a carrier, where I could open it and let his brother in. I had rooster flying around into my face. Jerry was there trying not to bust up laughing. He asked if he could try. He took a stick and just tapped the back legs of the guy and he walked right into the carrier. The other should come down into the pen, at little later!

I just received a note from Poshmark that they have contacted the seller. I can't cancel the order until Monday and I don't know if they credit my card of make it a store credit! My silly tom cat was getting back at me for petting him during the day, last night! I had a DR's appointment at 8AM. He gave my face a bath for about a half hour. I was out of bed at 3:30!!! I donned my mask and gloves and photographed a purse! I certainly don't want to spread this cold across the country!!! After the DR I slept for 4 hours!!!!!

Jerry put a huge piece of plywood over the opening, but it blocks the rooster's coup! I just went down to tuck them in and I thought they had not made it back to the coup, yet. Suddenly, I had flying chickens!!! LOL! They don't know me yet, so naturally they are nervous. The horse and mule followed me everywhere. They were hoping I'd leave the barn door open enough for they to get in, but I just squeezed in and shut the door!

I volunteered to plan and pay for the o'dourves at the cocktail party, before the wedding. Everyone she invited is showing up. It will be about 150 people plus we're figuring on 10 to12 more. I'm thinking 6 to 8 o'dourves per person. Does that sound about right? There is a full meal at the reception.

She's never done anything like that before, and I have! They even had us organize a tea for a general when we were in boot camp. Women had a limited role then. I talked to him for the first time in 22+ yrs; he demanded to know where I moved to. In the the next call, he said he'd come to Memphis, "to check on us!" Of course the police didn't believe me. One night after the girls had moved out, I heard a pistol engage, outside my window. Afterwards, I never had another problem with him. I think I have a protector from the family.

Even at my age I have found that my mom and dad have been always right; until this morning. Gus Gus the horse stepped with his 1k # weight on my foot. My foot is going to be bruised, but is fine. My poor overworked Guardian Angel must have put his foot over mine! When he took me as a charge, he didn't sign on for a job, but an adventure!

littlebithad12 I sold a pair of shorts to a lady in MN. After she bought them she changed her address. I used the updated label. I checked it 3Xs. In tracking it, it ended up in ST Paul, she lives in another town. According to the Post Office they left it with "an individual," in St Paul on Wed. Is it a suburb, maybe? I let her know of a possible problem and to contact me if she didn't receive it. I haven't heard. She has not accepted it. PM will release my funds tomorrow, if she doesn't.

One of those went on a killing spree in LA, about a 2 wks ago. There is some sort of major political rally going on in Portland, this weekend. Law enforcement is freaking, because they think There are going to be riots between the far left and far right. Things are so scary, anymore!

I am setting up a systematic way to keep track of parties, items and types of items displayed, as well as likes vs sales. I'm going to work self shares and time of day in there too.
