wdp0618 Hi there!! What does it mean when someone adds one item to a bundle?? I am still trying to learn all the rules!!,🤔

at17 @wdp0618 hey Wendy! So you can create a bundle in someone's closet by clicking add to bundle. This is a great feature if you want to buy more than one item from a single persons closet. After adding all the items you would like you can view the bundle. Most sellers offer a discount if you choose to bundle which will reflect in the price you are shown for bundled items. For example, my current sale I've chosen to have any 2 or more items that are bundled receive a 30% off discount.

at17 @wdp0618 This gives an incentive for shoppers to get more than what they had originally picked out without paying extra, and the seller a way to have great relationships with customers by showing that we care that you've taken the time to buy multiple items from us so in return we'll give you a discount. Some sellers don't choose to have discounts but you can always make an offer on a bundle you've created and negotiate the price with the seller that way. I hope this helps 💕

at17 @wdp0618 happens all the time! Sometimes people will add one thing as they scroll through your closet in hopes of finding something else to add. Hopefully she'll come back and either add more or buy the one piece!

cameo0821 @at17 I want to steal these I love them so much!!! I just recently went through an incident with a customer that I recieved an IND for because I marked something as highwaisted and to me, someone who is 5'2", it was. Then when she shipped the item back it was damaged!!! And the low ball bundle offers. . . Shame on them!!! Happens all the time where someone wants something for free

at17 @cameo0821 feel free to use it!! I hadn't had many problems when Poshmark first started and recently it's become a weekly if not daily thing. I love the wonderful member and friends I've made within this community but I feel like standards need to be implemented and enforced.

cameo0821 @at17 I just joined this year and just recently started selling thing, so I'm not sure how things were prior. And most of the Poshers I've sold to or from have been amazing but I've had a few rude people comment on a price or try to offer a 4th of my price marked and it's so rude that I feel insulted. Of course some of my prices may seem high but that leaves wiggle room for offers and bundle discounts because there's a certain amount I'd like to make off an item.

cameo0821 @at17 And thank you, I'm totally stealing the idea but hopefully I won't plagerise you 😂😂😂

at17 @cameo0821 oh yeah I understand that. I often have listed items higher so that I can reduce the price and run sales, in addition to using the bundle as an incentive for buyers to save money but for me to sell more as well. I'm so sorry you're experiencing some unpleasant people but it happens. Just like every site there's lots of scam artists and people looking for handouts.

irisheyesbtq Oh my goodness. It was fate that i saw this today! Ive only been on posh since april and have sold about 10 items. Ive bought more! Anyway... why is it more than half of the people that I've sold to do not understand that they need to accept their item or leave a rating for me? Every single thing that I have bought I have come straight home from work opened it checked it out and accepted and wrote my love note.
Jun 04Reply
irisheyesbtq
irisheyesbtq I don't understand why they just blatantly ignore someone. I've taken the time to add an extra free little gift and a nice thank-you note and they don't even acknowledge it whatsoever period I hope I start to have some better experiences on here or I might just close my closet and call it a day

irisheyesbtq I actually had a lady today get kind of nasty with me who bought an Under Armour sports bra from me its a $45 bra she got it for $20 and then said she won't hit the accept button for me because it wasn't as brand-new looking to her as it was in the pictures. I took pictures the best I could I did not try to deceive her I don't know what to do anyone have any ideas? I've got a 5-star rating so far and don't want to ruin it

at17 @brickey495 oh gosh! That is the absolute worst. As sellers we put effort into sending out packages, no not everyone has fancy wrapping paper and lengthy notes or free gifts, but a simple "thank you" or "fits perfectly" or "just as described" goes a long way. It's a way for other buyers to get an idea as to how we are as a seller. So sorry this keeps happening to you, it happens to me occasionally.
Jun 04Reply
at17
at17 And that's ridiculous! Buyers have every opportunity to ask questions and if something isn't listed at NWT they can't expect it to be perfect

irisheyesbtq
irisheyesbtq @at17 sorry for thr rant! Im just really getting dusgusted. I work full time also and always rush to mail something and then it sits ( once for 10 days) with no aknowledgement. I dont understand ,my stuff is in great condition ,they want it for pennies . Its not worth the time to make $3 on something especially when its not a cheap item. Thanks for the response!
Jun 04Reply
at17
at17 @brickey495 oh darling! Rant all you want I completely understand. I feel the exact same way. A lot of what I sell I use to purchase new things and it also goes towards making sure I can eat food other than ramen. As a starving college kid that works full time I completely understand the disgust when you've got quality items worth way more than what they're listed for, but we take what we can get. It's insulting the way people go about lowballing everyone.

at17 @nrchan of course!! I used to not have anything posted but a couple of months ago I finally just wrote it all down so it was clearly stated on my page 😂😂 so far it has kept the spammers and lowballers to a very minimum

nrchan @at17 That's awesome and thank you for letting me use It! I had someone offer me $100 on a NWT MK bag that's going for almost $600!! I was so annoyed and that's just one instance 😥😒
Aug 17Reply
at17
at17 @nrchan no problem! And oh how ridiculous! I've also got an "acceptable offers" post if you want to use that as well. It shows the fees Poshmark takes from us and a guideline for polite offers

modista316
modista316 @cameo0821 I have taken the precaution of making this message as a listing: “As a precaution, I photographed each item in detail prior to shipping. I also get shipping receipts.” I take a picture of the item with the zipper unzipped and zipped up, etc. I take pictures of labels, etc. One has to protect oneself.
Jan 10Reply
cameo0821
cameo0821 @modista316 I've begun to do that as well but when I started in poshmark I didn't realize there were so many unsavory characters. I also try to add those pictures to my pictures as well because once the item is sold you can't edit them after and poshmark can see that as well

at17 @cameo0821 you both are smart in doing that, luckily I haven’t run into That yet but I know there’s people out there who buy just to ruin your stuff and claim you sent them something damaged. The best we can do is report them and hopefully get them removed from the app

dchillas
dchillas I wish people really read these in these closets I’ve tried in mind and nobody seems to pay attention the only comment I have is I like it when somebody adds a single item to a bundle because that way I can make them an offer without a shipping discount when they just like the item then I have to drop at 10% and give a shipping discount that was my only thought I’m about to check your closet out🌲🎁💕
Dec 17Reply
at17
at17 @dchillas I’ve found many of these issues aren’t present anymore, I do wish more people read it but having it posted gives me peace of mind when the issues do arise because I can simply reference this.

dchillas
dchillas I agree I get likes and offers on items I last final price no offers it’s so annoying I wish Posh would get away from actually do away with offers to Likets because you already dropped the price down and then 10% plus the shipping discount and then you keep having to drop it I think it’s useless myself🌲🎁💕
Dec 17Reply
at17
at17 @dchillas yes!! I used to make so much more here a few years ago when shipping was still low. I feel as if the app itself has slowed down with consumers actually making purchases.

lilprettyposh_
lilprettyposh_ @at17 I’m from Canada and I’m moving my closet slowly down to the US bc of shipping costs! I love to Posh, make a bit of money and get my hustle on! The low balling and of course competition. People will give away great things for absolutely nothing! That’s what drives the prices down! Good for you for posting this! xo

dchillas
dchillas I just started this year and shipping was lower and then they added sales tax but a friend told me about Merica site and I just decided to list some of my stuff on there and I just had my closet on vacation hold for four days and you can’t do that on the other side and I had 22 items sold to ship out when I got back you can choose shipping rates so for small items 299 and the seller can pay or the buyer and the site only takes 10%.
Dec 17Reply
at17
at17 @dchillas I’ve also been using Curtsy as an option and have had some success there as well. I think it’s a balancing act and putting the right items on each site.
