Wanted to ask a well-versed Posher that knows the in’s-and-out’s of things. lol... 😀 Have you ever had a transaction from a buyer and on their end of things, it doesn’t “add up”? A lady bought boots from me, and it said it got delivered but she says she didn’t get it. But yet, she gives me simple and vague answers to my questions. (continued) ⤵️

stylecircle @daniellelong7 Hi there! Oh it's no problem, I am always happy to help! I've been fortunate so far in that I haven't had too many shenanigans, but shipping snafus are always frustrating! So I do know that if USPS marks it as delivered, it will be Pending Acceptance for, at most, 3 days. (Cont)

stylecircle @daniellelong7 If the buyer doesn't manually accept the item within those 3 days then poshmark releases your funds to you regardless. However, if she says it wasn't delivered, even though USPS says it's delivered...I don't have experience, but what I would guess is she would have to open a case (cont.)

stylecircle @daniellelong7 Poshmark's seller and buyer protection has a policy that if the messup is on USPS's end - like lost package, delivered to wrong address - then they refund the buyer and release the funds to the seller. I had one case where USPS lost a package and this was what happened. If that's the situation then at least your payment still gets released! (Cont.)

I really appreciate your kind words! 😊 I work directly with inventory managers of small retailers in my local area - that way I'm not purchasing something that would go on clearance at a big department store or direct to textile recycling. I try to only source pieces that are routed to landfill, so I don't take away from the normal retail shoppers!

I only tried experimenting with the curated theme section recently starting with the festival theme since it’s almost Coachella 😄 It’s crazy but I sold 4 items from that curated theme. stylecircle @kbordeau12 Aw gosh, thank you so much! I'm really flattered! 😊 Ah, the thing that was most helpful for me when taking photos was learning how to maximize a light source. I don't have a lighting rig so I use natural lighting, and getting a light reflector really helped to make the most of it! Other than that, it was lot of trial and error until I found what works for me haha 😅

Sometimes phone cameras tint the white balance Blue under sunlight, which might give your photos that cool tone. I've always had more success shooting on overcast days!

I don’t use any app beyond the editing function on my phone, I have an iPhone 6 with a pretty bomb camera, and the in-house editing suite usually takes care of any brightness/contrast needs 😊 I usually take my pictures on overcast days for natural light with the least color pollution. The only equipment I use is a lighting reflector, which is a godsend! It really doubles ur lighting power - I use the Neewer 43” reflector, it’s usually less than $20 on Amazon! 👍
