aredhousebuy @angelbee143 I’m a poor girl that’s why am on here selling things posh takes 20% and does very little to help us sell it’s so exhausting all the sharing and following and it’s so hard to even find any offers when they are made they just get lost in the never ending feed I’m really getting burned out on Poshmark 😞

aredhousebuy @angelbee143 I was on eBay for years but they are imploding-Plus my partner pulled out on me and left me with two months of huge fees so Ebay is not an option for me now I have about 100 things on there but there’s no visibility anymore

aredhousebuy @angelbee143 I need to learn how to use Instagram I’m on Other platforms -which I love NOTHING Is more time-consuming and non-productive than Poshmark And nobody charges 20% right off the top and forces everyone to pay such high shipping charges... I’ve really come to dislike it but I have an entire warehouse full of things that I have to sell And then the whole deal with the ribbons in the Bows and the freebies just makes me nuts

aredhousebuy @angelbee143 We sold everything on other platforms my partner sold prayer and vintage guitars and musical instruments that were very expensive so the fees were pretty hard when he decided to pull all have the stuff out of the store I was stuck with the bills :(

aredhousebuy @angelbee143 thanks I MUST EXPLORE IT Posh charges TOO MUCH & forces us to give buyers 10% offers & absorb exorbitant shipping fees for the buyers it’s really horrible I have had sales i Cleared $1.50 that’s insane they started off as luxury sellers so I guess people that can afford to sell Gucci & Prada really do not care about fees but I’m ordinary working class I sell very modestly priced items the fees & having to pay shipping costs for buyers is really making this just about pointless

aredhousebuy @angelbee143 I found that some of the posh Facebook group pages were very helpful but some of them like a lot of the buyers on Poshmark are extremely immature I think they must be teenagers? I think the people that sell piles of items have people working for them probably virtual assistance or robots that can do all the sharing & following

aredhousebuy @katiemob I have a chart I’ll tag you on sweetie As posh evolves & changes its not easy for traditional online buyers to understand the bundling & shipping discounts that the sellers actually pay -is very odd After years on a platform from the 90s The young who don’t know anything but posh don’t seem to have learned any negotiating skills it’s been a hard adjustment for all Perhaps we can re-introduce the traditional concepts in bargaining & negotiating a price

The system where a seller sets an ASKING price and the BUYER MAKES AN OFFER has been the way we have done it in the Western Hemisphere- So it’s odd for both parties When the seller is expected to make offers to the buyer. 😬🥺

jamitch1220 I love this! I usually low all to get an idea how low the seller is willing to go, most just decline rather than counter offer! And I price my goods to allow room for negotiation as in the beginning I was losing money due to not pricing high enough to allow negotiations.
