Hi! I'm Heather. I am a Prenatal Massage Therapist working in New Jersey. ( https://pregnancy-massage-nj.njmassage.info ) I travel to the homes of women and provide both prenatal and postnatal massage. This is fulfilling work and I am happy doing this. In India, it's a tradition to do postnatal massage for forty days. But it's not just in India. Other cultures did this also, and some still do. In India, women don't leave the house for forty days after giving birth. That practice was so widespread at one time, the Italian word quaranta is the root of our English word quarantine and refers to this forty day period! Who would have known?! It's good that we're coming back to a more holistic view of life and health. Apparently, at one time the entire world, or most of it, thought this way. In the U.S., prenatal massage is more popular among non-Indian women. The truth is, both prenatal massage and postnatal massage have many proven health benefits, and can really improve the mother's quality of life. On Poshmark, I buy personal fashion items, as well as clothing to donate to families via a charity I work with. I am a graduate of F.I.T., though I really haven't ever done any fashion designs.
