RARE Burmese Amber Tribal Necklace

This necklace is soo cool with its inclusions. You can definitely see some winged insects. This Burmese Amber is over 99 million years old. That’s when dinosaurs walked the earth. Absolutely fascinating! Necklace length is approx 29” long and 16 cylindrical separated by a disk shape beads arriving to the three larger disc like beads in the middle that hang perfectly. The larger middle disk is chipped but it’s the way is been. I guess made this way. Non the less. It’s a beauty not to mention a piece of history…99 million Years ago! This fossilized amber was prized by the Burmese people for its rich brownish red color that was stunning in the sunlight, taking on almost a glowing look. Once worn by a Mizo woman, you could also soon be wearing fabulous piece of history. Ive found one other comp online and it was sold for 1480.00. Also tribal. I’ll be checking with the history museum about this piece. (Ive been saying this for years) As far as I know, it’s never been examined by an expert for the insects inside. Possibly never discovered! Exciting.
