These awesome jeans have quite the storied past - they were originally purchased at LA's posh Fred Segal on Melrose Boulevard for $1600. I've hung onto them for over 20 years...even though they've been packed away for 10 of those. I don't know what Levis cut this is but I can tell you that they are definite 'butt' jeans. Size 5.
