Hem ends that are triple layer for longer lasting rug and pet friendly (no tassels to chew and choke on). Rug is made from hand cut and sewn together strips that are tightly packed in a weaved on a floor loom. Can wash in washing machine but recommend drying flat or hung over railing/chair/line.
