Absolutely stunning gently worn navy blue Domino Eyelet J. Crew Café Capri pants-00P. In an online shopping haze, I failed to read the full description listing the pants as being petite prior to purchasing them, & only realized my error once I tried them on.😢Otherwise, they'd be keepers! Let my loss be your gain! 😍 Originally from retail store, NOT factory. Measurements are all approximate & were taken with the garment lying flat-Waist: 14 in., inseam: 21.5 in., leg opening: 5.5 in.

@csliwinski Here ya go girlie!! I ❤️❤️❤️ them, they just don't fit right. 😣. The style number is 87062 if ya wanted some further info. So, let me know if you would possibly be interested in trading your polkadot café Capri pants size 00 (NOT Petite, right??) for these! Like I mentioned before, I've never done a trade, but do you have an excellent Poshmark history. Although my great feedback has DEFINITELY more on the purchasing side, I do plan on listing lots of items soon. My closet is sad and pathetic right now with the couple of random items hanging out from eons ago. Lol. Not to mention I could definitely use that money to support my habit. LOL. S let me know what you think-I look forward to hearing from you! 😍

Hi @cairebear09 😊 thanks for posting these. I would normally be up for a trade, but the last pair of cafe capris 00p that I bought from j crew didn't fit and I just bought a similar style from AnnTaylor. 😕 the polka dot ones I have listed are 00 regular though. Do you happen to know what the inseam is on these?

@csliwinski 21.5 inches.

@csliwinski At 5'6 they make me look cray cray. Lol.

Lol your comment made me laugh. 😂 I think the waist might be too big so I'm hesitant to trade on them right now. I love J Crew when the pants fit but I have so much trouble with their sizing. I swear they just size every style completely differently.

@csliwinski I know, right?? For some reason, this 00 waist fits more snugly than any other pair of J. Crew size 00 bottoms/skirt I've ever owned/tried on. I was assuming that it was due this being a petite size. However, I have an adorable pair of camel medallion (?) print City Fit capris in a 00, and they're baggy! 😳 Weird. What is your waist measurement/size in jeans? I can wear anywhere from a 25-27 in pretty much all (designer) denim depending on the style.

Normally 24-26 depending on the brand. I was not blessed with any hips whatsoever so it makes finding pants for work nearly impossible. I have a pair of orange city fit JCrew cropped pants that fit great and they're 00 regular. Then I bought that polka dot pair and they're too big. I don't understand it. I love JCrew pants bc they're so durable and well made but the fits are crazy sometimes.

I should just start tailoring my pants but that just seems like such a pain. The 00p JCrew black pants I have listed are awesome but just fit me too baggy overall. They would be a good one for me to get tailored but I just can't see buying clothes and spending more money on getting them to fit. Idk I think I'm just lazy. lol

@csliwinski Gurl you preaching to the size confused choir over here. Lol. 😜. Well, I just attempted to measure myself (my mom was a wonderful seamstress-she even made prom dresses for me in high school! But, unfortunately she passed away in January and left me unable to even so on a button. LOL.) and came up with: natural waist: approx. 25.5 inches (not pulled too tightly), and hips: approx. 32.5 inches. My biggest size issues have to deal with my "girls". I'm a 30-32DDD/F! 😱 So, finding structured dresses/tops/jackets to accommodate both my larger chest AND the remainder of my stick figure body proves difficult. 😢. I've been looking at pant suits for work lately, and do you know how difficult it is to find a jacket that will button over my chest about a size 4) combined with a size 00/0 pants?? It's a biatch. Lol. 😣. Do my measurements resemble your measurements closely at all? 😋
Jun 29Reply

cairebear09
@csliwinski guess my ramble was too long-the last bit of my comment was cut off! 😡. Lol. All I was asking was if my measurements resembled your measurement minutes closely at all?

@csliwinski In with ya on the whole tailoring thing-tailor schmailer! Lol. If I didn't miss my mom already, I definitely miss her whenever I think about having to pay $10 just have a pair of pants or jeans hemmed! Boo! Especially since the Denham companies make the freaking jeans like 8 inches too long on purpose for some reason. They must have a thing going with all the tailoring shops in the country. Haha. 😋

@csliwinski *Denim not Denham. I live in Denham Springs, LA-damn autocorrect/auto fill. Lol. 😆

So sorry to hear about your mom. I am the worst at sewing. I tried a few times and gave up. It really is a lost art. My friend just bought a sewing machine and I swear she's going to sew her pants backwards. Hahaha this may be tmi (but I'm the queen of tmi) so when I was on birth control I wore a full 34c which made it so weird, esp when I bought bathing suits bc I have no butt whatsoever. Since I've been off it, not only did I lose a little bit of any butt that I had, but I went down a bit in my boobs. Last time I got measured I was a 32c but those bras seem a bit big now and 32bs are too small. I used to hate shopping until I found petite sizing. It's still frustrating but I like it more when I actually find clothes that fit.

I would go shopping and try on pants and wonder who could possibly fit into the pants I would try on. I would find ones that would even be too tight in the waist, but big in the hips & thighs, & too long. They must be designing these pants for 6 foot models with no waist but with perfect hips & butt.

@csliwinski Thanks girl. Well, seeing as I too suffer from the "Noassatall disease" (LOL), I feel your pain in that department. 😅. I swear if I had the extra money I would run, not walk, to have a Brazilian butt lift done. AH-MAZING! 👍. And as far as your decreasing bra size is concerned, since BCP are all hormones, I would assume that may keep your girls nice and plump. 😜. (I am an RN and not just blowing smoke up your bum. 😁) But, you've not only lost cup volume, you've also lost inches around. Did you lose weight? As you know, boobies are comprised of fat, and an unfortunate side effect of weight loss can be some deflation of the twins. 😢. Here's some TMI for you: But, my girls were bought! I had them first done back in 2002 due to a pretty upsetting amount of asymmetry (about 2 cup sizes) that I had been dealing with since childhood, & had them evened out and slightly bigger. I then had them redone in December 2012 after one of my old ones deflated. But, when it comes to being properly measured for a bra, I highly recommend finding a boutique lingerie store and being measured there. It is the best experience-they find bras that will fit your body frame well, help you try them on, and actually measure you correctly. Victoria's Secret and major department stores suck in comparison. LOL.

Yeah, over the last 5 years, I haven't been as active or exercised as much so (funny enough) I lost a little bit of weight but I think I mainly lost some muscle, esp in my butt which contributed to me looking like a 12 year old. Now I'm just too lazy to start any type of exercise regimen to get any muscle back. I know I should but I feel like I need to take advantage of my fast metabolism while I still have it lol

Are you on Instagram? I know it's not much for chatting there but I love it. I'm chel__cle on there. (Two underscores.)

cairebear09
@csliwinski I think you're right. I mean come on, I barely have the money that it takes to buy nicer clothing ( which I love of course. LOL.). So, therefore I don't have any $$$ left over to go and have my wardrobe completely retailored to fit me! Like on the episodes of "what not to wear", Stacy and Clinton will touch on tailoring your clothes to fit you, but it's not really part of the money the client received to go shopping. TLC must just throw the massive amount of tailoring/$$$ for free. Haha.

That show kills me. I swear I know someone who needs to be on that show though. Lol she is straight out of an episode.

@csliwinski True dat about a fast metabolism. Good thing mine has hung on as long as it has (I'm 38!!!) since me and any form of exercise despise each other. Lol.

@csliwinski HAHA. Too funny. I just followed you on Instagram! I'm cairebear09. Forgive me, but I am very new to that app, and only have one photo uploaded so far. What's it like-is it basically just to upload photos you like?
