SOLD - Bloomers 15 inch waist, upcycled handmade knickers pettipants

Waist, unstretched: 15 inches across. The elastic in back will stretch another 1-2 inches comfortably. Inseam: 19 inches Rise: 18.75 inches I make upcycled clothes. This pair of cropped pantaloons is made from a base garment of made in Italy linen pants. I have added hand cut and machine sewn scraps of shabby fabrics, patchwork, patches. Flat front with elastic waist in the back. Front side pockets and back patch pockets. This can be worn as pants, pantaloons or under a lagenlook style skirt or dress for an exquisite shabby chic aesthetic. After sewing was completed I dyed the garment, rinsed well and line dried it. Hand washing OR gentle machine washing and line drying is recommended. Designed to fray and look even more shabby with each wash. The entire garment has a very vintage, antique finish, as if you just pulled them from your great grandmother’s trunk hidden in the attic. The cuffs have drawstrings that can be let out or removed if you’d prefer. Shown cinched for a balloon or full mutton leg style. Designed for comfort and style while maintaining a “homespun” aesthetic. I create cottage style garments without the use of industrial equipment to ensure a handmade feel. I have industrial sewing machines that I use for creating other styles of garments, but these garments are intentionally made to look and feel vintage, handcrafted and antique. My own brand of shabby clothing is called “ellaCinder” and styles perfectly with high end distressed, patchy garments.
