SOLD Christian Dior vintage velvet and satin hat Wide brimmed vintage hat from the archival halls of 1950s Dior. Black velvet crown with stylized bow. Shiny satin brim, that has an almost latex look to it. Very cool structured yet floppy shape. The union made tag and serial number on the inner lining, suggests that this piece was made in 1950s-1960s, when Christian Dior pieces became union-made, specifically by the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU). This label was used to signify that the garments were made under fair labor conditions as dictated by union standards Very good condition no visible flaws, damages or alterations. Slight discoloration on the interior as expected from such a vintage gem. No sizing. My estimate would be a medium.
