Stone fruit was popular in the 1960s & 1970s, and it's experiencing a resurgence today. These pieces were carved from alabaster marble, sometimes with embedded calcite; the stem is a natural wooden peg. This mini pumpkin or gourd is a very pretty textured alabaster marble ranging from deep salmon pink to red. Excellent condition, no chips, scratches or abrasions to the stone. These pumpkin/gourds are rarer than most of the fruit like apples.

I know its been over two years since the last one sold, so you may have found another source, but these aren't easy to find, the apples are much more common.
