@mbmclane The waist is mid rise. These have just a bit of stretch and are trouser style jeans, so a dressier style of jeans. I bought them in several sizes and still wear this style of jeans to work on casual days. They look great with a blazer style jacket. I will add photos in an hour when I get home. These were on “Oprah’s favorite jeans list” for a few years.

@mbmclane I uploaded more photos. It’s impossible for me to get them all in one shot as they are long jeans. My room with the brightest lighting isn’t real big. They are very dark denim blue, so look almost black in photos. Dressy for jeans. Have a bit of flex or stretch, but are meant to be supportive for hips, thighs, bootie shaping. I wear them all of the time in a smaller size (these are loose, too long for flats). Hope this helps!
