kmboldt Hi! How would you describe the condition/ wear of the bag? Thanks!

kathartic @kmboldt hi, thanks for your interest! I’m checking it over and there are no tears in the fabric/mesh or anything I can see in the way of structural compromise. The pack fabric is robust and hides discoloration/fading well. The mesh side pockets/straps show some water staining/dustiness but truthfully, I’ve never noticed nor tried to deep clean this pack bc... well, it was for the backcountry 😅

kathartic @kmboldt I took great care of this and never let it sit somewhere dirty if I could manage (+ always slept with it inside my tent, so never had critters chewing). Still, I’m impressed by how even the mesh has held up! Let me add some closeups!

kathartic @kmboldt oh, I found one hole in the left mesh side pocket while taking close ups. Sorry, my phone camera is awful! The bag definitely isn’t fresh from the store. I mean, it’s hitchhiked with me across the Swiss Alps and summited up Mt Whitney 😂 but aside from the two big trips, there wasn’t much abuse in car camping etc :) This is xposted and I’ve received several high offers so will keep it up as is for the rest of the week, then respond if no one has purchased!

kmboldt @kathartic thank you SO much for being thorough, I really appreciate it. Sounds like a great bag that's already been on some good adventures but still has a lot of life in it. Very interested, assessing some options and will get back to you ASAP if it's not already taken! Thanks again!

kathartic @kmboldt of course! It took me soo long and trying on so many of the same packs to make a decision about buying one, and it’s all so personal. I loved this one bc it had the right specs for backpacking outdoors but also traveling

kathartic @kmboldt i.e. zippers tuck away under panels that hide the zip seam from the outside, so it’s not obvious for pickpockets. Full access side zip was mandatory for me, and while thruhiking, I used the sleeping bag divider to support the weight of my bear can in the pack (tried on single compartment packs — I’m petite so having all the weight sink to the bottom of the pack was awful). Really appreciate all the thoughtful touches!
