BOOK PIECE - Roslyn Gerson's Compact Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition, p. 151 -- $700 - $900 Value Listed (Book published in late 1990s) Incredibly sought after Schuco Mohair Brown Teddy Bear Compact & Lipstick Vanity Collectible made in Germany in the 1920s. Extremely hard to find in this condition! At 100 years old, tthe mohair remains quite plush -- only a tiny bit of loss or separation at the seams of the left paws and ear tips. Brown mohair, black metal bead eyes, black horizontally stitched nose, jointed, opening at torso to reveal mirror, missing powder and puff. The mirror is very well preserved -- almost completely clear despite its age. The tiny lipstick pulls out of the neck, and has remaining color deep in the well. The adorable little head secures the body closed -- simply place it on the lipstick extended neck a bit turned to the right, then slide down and turn to center to close securely. This is a little girl's dream item -- for the little girl in all of us! CHAIR NOT INCLUDED!!
