Sodalite, so named for its reference to its sodium content, is found in Canada, and was discovered in the 1800's. It is a stone that is said to help women who are aging come to terms with entering the phase of their life which promotes wisdom and empowerment. It is a soothing crystal, said to aid in sleep. It resonates with both the Third Eye and Throat Chakras, and its Zodiac sign is Cancer and Sagittarius. I designed this pendant using a piece of polished Sodalite wrapped in tarnish-resistant silver copper wire, adding Sodalite beads, a blue Czech Glass bead and a resin bird charm.
