@shopwisteria I can only imagine what it must have been like for them when the fire broke out in Hollywood. Fortunately, they got that one out fairly quickly. My brother lives in West Hills just off Topanga Canyon Rd, not far from Woodland Hills. He has several fires in the area that are still burning, but they seem to be making progress.

@matana Thanks. The latest I found about this (homeless) guy is that they did not have sufficient evidence to hold him on arson charges, but were able to arrest him on some parole violations. This guy sounds like a real scum bag or a nut case. Who in their right mind would be taking a blowtorch and trying to burn trash in the area he was doing it? I'm guessing he wasn't a resident, but the articles I read didn't say.

@nspearson He was caught with a blowtorch, so I have no idea why would they say it's insufficient evidence. Anyway, it just looks to wild to be of a natural cause. This fire is too severe and the negligence of the mayor who cut funds from the fire department is another big reason to fire her. Also, the lack of water is insane. Choosing the wrong people just for their skin color, gender and gender affiliation is another negligence that is criminal. Gavin Newsom and the mayor got to go.

Dear friends, I’ve been going through a bit of a tribulation you might say, my pain doctor of five years has disappeared. And I have been left stranded without a pain management doctor now and without my pain medication. It is unbelievable for a doctor to completely disappearand not say a word to his patient number one. Even if he was losing his practice because he couldn’t keep up per se he’s left all of his patients stranded and in emergency condition.

I am a former flight attendant if you did not know that was injured on a flight many years ago I have had multiple fusions and so many excruciating procedures to try to fight the condition. My back was left in after a failed back surgery. My body rejected the screws. Anything and everything went wrong. I’ve had my nerves burned in my back and Jesus what a horrid decision that was. Don’t ever do it. They grow back with a vengeance, and they hate you with every fiber of their being.

I have been without pain medication since the beginning of the year and I don’t know how I’m making it through with just Advil and Tylenol. I cannot just pick up the phone and find myself another pain management doctor. It does not work that way in Texas.Workers comp is a screwed up messed up effed up mess. Basically the only way I’m making it through is my extreme faith in God, deep prayer, meditation, and the extreme love of family and friends and God I love you all.

@jennifernora32 Thersa. This is awful. I’m so sorry this is happening to you. You must find a new dr now. Maybe even go to the ER, and get them to help you find a dr. This is totally unacceptable that illegals can get medical treatments while American citizens can’t even get a normal doctor. When I moved to to US about 18 years ago, it was way better. It’s becoming like a third world country now. This is totally unacceptable. I hope you will get better soon.

If I completely was honest about just how open I am. It’s not like I am a I don’t know what but I see things, I feel things, so so emotionally and deep. I wish I could express the things I’ve seen , without you thinking I was crazy. I know that you can close your eyes and you can see your body travel to other places.

@jennifernora32 what does your primary care doc have to say about this? He should be able to refer you to some one else.I retired out of the medical field and I know how much it has changed over time. it is ridiculous that there is such a shortage of physicians. I hope you find some one reputable soon who can ease your suffering. contact the local chapter of the AMA and see if they have any suggestions for you. prayers for you my dear🙏🙂💕

@cjk5940 I haven’t made an appointment with my primary doctor yet and she is so incredibly wonderful. She is going to literally have a cow. She is the sweetest woman, and I don’t know how she is going to react to this happening. There are a few of my medications that I feel like she can keep me on, but the pain medication is not in her field. I’m extremely proud of myself for not having to go to the hospital ever in my over 32 years of being injured.

That was the last time I have felt like I could get out and go anywhere i just feel like a slug 🐌. That tingles all over and I’m already so Sensitive that it’s a Complete Mind Numbing Thing you have to do to stop it. You have to concentrate it soo hard it… the Pain Away. It’s A Mind F. Ugh. 😣. @matana Funds were not really cut from the budget. She split the budget into two accounts, one for fire fightersalary and benefits and the other adm staff & capital expenditures. Negotiations for the adm & capital expenditures completed several months sooner than for the other, because the FF salary negotiations was with the fire fighters union. The first one had something like a 3% cut (mostly administrative staff), but overall ended up with a 9% increase when the two were considered together.
