This person commented on my one purse to email them. I emailed them and this was Theyr reply after I tried asking them to pay through posh. I googled it & they send a fake certified check & make it for thousands more then the amount & claim they need u to wire it back ASAP. YOU DEPOSIT IT & wire money back & Then the check bounces 2days after and you’ve lost 1000$++ DO NOT FALL FOR THIS..!

I emailed the one back & that’s Their reply which I knew = FAKE AND BS..! I sent posh customer service the emails they sent,flagged the user/blocked them. I have gotten two more since then on ysl bag and Chanel. I hit the flag on both messages. It’s just soo gross ppl have no conscious..! 😭

Someone told me about the flag months ago and now when I get a message....I immediately go onto their page. I report the user as spam, then I go back, report the comment as transactions off posh, then I go back and block em. I’m full service anti scam 😂😂😂

Soo I did a deep dive into YouTube vids & found out this scam originated from Craigslist’s..🤯 Tons of very helpful posh members telling Their horror stories of loosing 1000+$ from this.. I felt obligated to not only report it directly to keep this site safe & honest sellers safe.Plus HAD TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TRYING TO GET OUT OUT OF IT. But regardless this is EVIL..! Thank god I researched prior to emailing back.

I have also found that from speaking to poshies from when this scam first originated on here (or unfortunately found its way onto here) that people had sent items off to people just to have a check bounce. I’m a seasoned seller (though I’m newer to posh and new to M) and I don’t use checks for ANYTHING. A cashiers check? That’s about it! But that’s never even happened!!

Instead it’s worse then any other platforms I’ve ever used. Took 3days to get reply. Im 90% sure I’ll be deleting my account on here. I’ve had 26sales on eBay since making this two weeks ago. 0 sales on here. It’s just not worth it to me😢

I know from selling on EB, F B, etc....those things don’t do that. I joined M.....I haven’t sold a thing. brilldelights @jesscas_closet when you EDIT the price it’s the only way to move your listing to THE TOP OF THE SEARCH FEED. Otherwise it’s only being shared to your current network of followers. If those followers aren’t interested in anything you’re selling, then you’re just hitting a brick wall over and over.

(no sales tax there) But her mom got involved & It ruined my relationship with her. Long story, but I ended up pulling all my inventory from store & quit paying my half of rent on store. jesscas_closet @brilldelights plus on eb. the better rated seller you are = Bigger discounts on your shipping labels, they send you free listings & they also lower the 14% to free sometimes if they see your selling a lot & only getting positive feedbacks.😉 I have 100% feedback. Plus in reality eb is worldwide & has billions of eyes on your items. Plus I love how they let 12pics and I can write a book in the description if I want.🤣🤣 I love to be as detailed as possible.

But when I list something for say 300$ & it’s in mint cond. i.e. Burberry bag I had listed. I kept getting offers on here 50$ & “do you have original dustbag and receipt” like girl IF I HAD THE RECEIPT = I WOULD NEVER GIVE IT WITH THE SALE..! That makes no sense.! For what?!? So I have no proof it was bought at Burberry?!?!

Called NORTH BAY VILLAGE it’s only two streets east drive and west drive. We lived on east in a two story low rise condo building. Because it’s considered an ISLAND....you have to be super careful on insurance policies bc they don’t cover flooding on islands 🤬🤬🤬

upallnight83 Hi! I know I seem like a total weirdo for reading your guys conv but I saw that you sell on other plats and I haven't had any luck selling here either. Is it mainly EB or others too? I don't have luxury stuff or anything but was wondering if you might share any tips for selling on EB? I have never tried and don't know where to begin, it's overwhelming! I would be super duper grateful but completely understand if you can't/don't want to. Either way thank you for the tips about scammers!

jesscas_closet @upallnight83 Also ~ EB can be difficult but If your truly serious about selling online and your only a one person store ~ I would recommend staying on one platform. I wish I had other people to help me and had some large team. But I posted over 60listings on here & Neglected my eBay which = my top rated seller status got pulled. It’s fine though Cos I can easily et it back since I sell so much stuff on there.😉

jesscas_closet @upallnight83 But I would start out with eb. Specializing in maybe 1 or 2 things. For instance I have a true passion for purses. Soo I will go thrifting and to estate sales & I will buy bags, if the prices are cheap. I always research the bag prior to buying it to get a idea of what my profits would be. I also sell higher end shoes & wallets,wristlets etc. once you get return customers ~ it’s soo simple..!

jesscas_closet @upallnight83 I personally would much rather sell on eb. Cos I feel like when you sell on here ~ All you get is a title of posh ambassador when you sell 50items or more. On eb. Your selling fees go down plus they send you discount coupons on listings/seller fees. Plus the higher rated you are as a seller on eb = the bigger discounts you get on shipping. Here you don’t get all those benifits. I thought since they charge ALOT more then eb that I would at least get great customer service.

jesscas_closet @upallnight83 ~ Sadly Theyr customer service on here is a total joke and is only they emails. Eb you can call them almost 24/7 & discuss any issues your dealing with etc. eb. Has easy more eyes on your items and a lot more benifits then here. Ijs🤷🏼‍♀️

upallnight83 @jesscas_closet Thank you so much for replying! I thought for sure you were thinking I was a weirdo for reading your conversation lol. I totally understand not wanting to stay on posh, their fees are too high, it's hard to get established (in my experience) with all the long standing, highly rated sellers. Not that it wouldn't be the same on eb. I have many things to sell that I hadn't even listed because of the difficulties I'm having selling the few I do have listed.

upallnight83 @jesscas_closet It involves finding the right buyer or collector which may take a very long time since I'm not budging on price because they are LE. Have you tried Ⓜerc at all? If so any luck?

gina_faerie I left EB behind because of the MP. Used to have 10x the sales there. Now it's mostly Bonz and here. Sometimes nothing for days, then last night 3 here & 2 there.
