Schott 681 black cowhide leather jacket Size 40 men Made in USA

Selling a recently purchased 681. These were produced for the Japanese market in the early to mid 90s. It’s similar to a current 552, but it has a slightly different cut. Compared to the 552, this is slightly shorter in length, and I feel like it tapers towards the waist. This particular jacket is in excellent shape considering its age. According to the tag, it was made in 1997. The leather is almost perfect except for a small scratch near the right pocket. I was really excited to get this in my hands, and so I was bummed when I tried it on today and it didn’t fit. I’m 5’6” with a 40” chest, and weigh 163 pounds. This is a 40, and I had trouble zipping it up. If I lifted it above my belt line and sucked up the gut I could zip it, and it was a little tight. So, maybe it’ll fit someone else.
