Sensational Pop Art Frascone Designer Handbag circa 1980s-90s

Founded in 1982 in San Francisco, Angela Frascone Accessories created limited edition evening bags and purses in whimsical floral, animal, and abstract images on silk. The bags were sold at high-end boutiques and department stores. This playful designer purse showcases quirky circles, in chartreuse-tinged yellow, floating on a brilliant red-orange background. A layered 2-piece medallion of the same print decorates the front. Thanks to Frascone's patented polymer resin, the bag shines like new. Black silk interior, sleek black lucite handles, removable clip-on shoulder strap, zip top closure, zippered interior pocket. Very good condition, clean, all hardware intact and fully functioning, including zippers. There are some small, faint scratches on back side near the base, shown in final photo. 10" wide x 7.5" tall x 3.5" deep. Handles: 5" drop. Removable shoulder strap: 36” long.
