A lovely vintage set of four Imperial Japan Design Teacup and Saucers from the 1950’s. A beautiful marbled pink edging around the saucers and the outside of the tea cups that kind of reminds me of a watercolor paint effect. With a subtle Opalescent or lustre finish. There is a gold stenciled design, gold rims and the tops of the teacup handles are gold. The interior of the cups have a double rose floral design in pink and yellow on green foliage. The bottoms of the teacups and saucers are hallmarked in gold, Imperial Japan Design. The Saucers measure: 5 7/8" wide The Teacups measure: 3 1/2" wide x 4 5/8" wide (including handle) x 3" tall The set is in very good vintage condition.
