Shadowline Size Medium Full Slip - in creamy yellow. Exquisite ❤️

I simply struggled to capture just how beautiful this slip really is with my camera. The bra cups are lined and embedded inside each cup are intricate flowers. This slip would make me feel sensual and lovely no matter how Matronly my work attire may be. Shadowline is well-known for the smooth and luxurious nylon material used in their fashion. This slip is no different - it feels like the high end quality Shadowline lovers expect. Shadowline was founded in 1946 by Sherrod Salsbury, Jr. The family ran the business, in my hometown, until 2009. Garments are hard to date because the styles and quality crossed many decades. Sometimes the logo tag gives us clues and I am certain this garment dates 1970-1980 because of the tag/label design. The Shadowline line was relaunched after 2009 but the style now varies. Slips now start at $32.00 One of my favorite recollections of Shadowline was when Ashley Judd wore a gown in The Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood. My mother had the exact same gown and I wear it today…it still looks like brand new.
