Silver, Turquoise & Amethyst Choker Necklace

I believe this is inlaid turquoise with a small amethyst but not sure if the amethyst is real. The back of the pendant appears to be stamped as silver. I purchased this in Mazatlan, Mexico many years ago and they always weighed the pieces to charge for amount of silver in their jewelry. Beautiful necklace!
