coxfam89 @cmholder From the shoulder to the bottom is 40inches and from the arm pit to the bottom is approximately 5 inches.

coxfam89 I am driving , but I can measure tomorrow and give exact from pit to pit flat. I am guessing atleast 38inches. It is an open front cardigan with no buttons or snaps. Sometimes if i want it to close I use a pretty pin. This cardigan is gorgeous and so soft!!! Can get exact measurement pit to pit tomorrow if that works for you?!??

lyndab43 I'm trying to get a sense of how large this is. I normally wear a 122 and sometimes a 10 jacket, and in the S-M-L-XL sizing I take an L, not an XL. Nonetheless, I have had L's that are huge and L's that are too tight, so you never know! In Chico's clothing, a 2 is about right, although sometimes I take a size 1. Since I am not really familiar with this brand, I have no real idea whether this cardigan would fit well or be swimmingly large. Any estimates (or guesstimates)?

coxfam89 @lyndab43 I also wear a large but sometimes an extra large. The Simply Couture brand fits somewhere between a 1 and 2 in Chico sizing. I love the way this fit me when I bought , but I never had an occasion to wear it. It really is a lovely sweater and so unique.. Honestly, if I were the sizes you, I would not hesitate to buy this piece.
