The top has a floaty, gauze-like feel to it with a super soft tee shirt material covering the rear. If you prefer it to be an open back, I'm sure it can be easily cut out. The racerback has a criss-cross looking style, but it fixed in place. The front hem is rounded and ample to accommodate larger sizes, but the top is not stretchy at the bust.

marinewifekeefe @dawnblackburn pit to put, unstretched (not really stretchy but has a little give) is 28" across (56" measurement total, but open back)
