devrosee Thanks @lotzmannjm ☺️ I ALWAYS photograph in natural light, no artificial lighting and I use white poster board as my backdrop. Arranging your item so that the photo has a good composition is also important, angles usually look best. ❤️

lotzmannjm Thanks!! 😊😊natural light is so hard for me in a - Pittsburgh, it's so dreary!! Especially in the winter 😥 and b - I have a ground floor apartment, but I'm in the process of buying a townhouse so that should really help finding more natural light!!

devrosee @lotzmannjm my sister goes to Point Park! I'm from Altoona, I'm in Philly now but I know Pittsburgh really well (Go Steelers!) It's hard to find natural light but even if you can find one east facing window in the morning/early afternoon it is so worth it.

lotzmannjm Awww yay!!! I went to W&J and work south of the city now! I'm buying in carnegie, soooo excited!! It was sooo much easier in the summer to do it on the weekends in the morning! I did get a chance to model items and use my nice camera with a remote to take pictures of myself in the late summer/early fall. My neighbors had to think I was crazy 😂.
