Jeans from one of California’s original selvedge denim brands Tellason. These slim-straight jeans have been lightly worn over the years but there is still plenty of life left in them. They have the original inseam. This particular pair was purchased years ago when White Cone Mills was actually still in operation. For whatever reason I stopped wearing them for many years. Put them away in the closet only to dig them back out some time last year and wore a little since then. I washed them this year for what I think was the first time and they remain unworn since then. They developed some light fading after that wash but still retain a lot of indigo. They have a very interesting desaturated look to them that was characteristic to this particular fabric since new. You might call it Blue Steel:) I’m sure they’ll look incredible as they continue to fade. These are the John Graham Mellor cut. It’s a slim straight cut and are pretty much truly straight. There is very little taper to them if any. I believe the JGM cut has a lower rise than the original straight Tellason cut. There are signs of wear throughout but nothing that would stop this piece from seeing a lot more action. They are a size 33.
