The first 2 pics are my rescue Schnauzers whom I rescued from (different) dreadful puppy mill situations. Because of them, I became an advocate of animal rescue. Because each day I'm amazed at their capacity to forgive human cruelty and love unconditionally, I have to do something. I decided to focus on helping dog meat trade survivors (look up Soi Dog & Save Korean Dogs) to find homes. I sponsored 6 freedom flights to the US in 2018-2019 & want to do more. ALL my profits are for this cause.

It's because of support from fellow Poshers like you that I am able to do more. belle_prince UPDATE: With my earnings (final selling price minus all fees) from my recent sales (here and other apps) and help from other Poshers (shares), I was able 2 sponsor 2 more pups. Talks are underway for a rescue to take the 2 pups in the last photo and they're on their way here. They dog meat trade survivors from Thailand. Thank you for helping me do this. 🙏 Next time, I plan to send the funds for "general use" of the DMT survivors (not necessarily for flights).

belle_prince UPDATE: Another round of donations has been sent and this time, I have chosen to send all the proceeds from sales to the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation. It is one of the few animal rescue organizations that's in Yulin, China right now as the Yulin 2018 Dog and Cat Meat Festival has officially begun. We all do the right thing by rescuing. But my mother has since passed away and the little Pekingese she bought me is almost 10 years old so she is a gift from my mom. So close to my heart. belle_prince @amelieskopp Yes. 🙂 Right now, these are the different ways to help: 1) Raise funds and donate to organizations like Soi Dog (based in Thailand), Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation (based in the US but members go to China etc. to do their work), and Save Korean Dogs (based in S. Korea). 2) Be a flight volunteer (e.g. Bring dogs with you when you fly back to the US from Thailand, Korea, etc. 3) Adopt a dog/cat meat trade survivor.

belle_prince @amelieskopp The 3 groups I mentioned are the biggest ones that are actually there on the ground rescuing dogs and cat meat trade survivors, sometimes negotiating with dog/cat "farm" owners so they'd look for an alternative business, and lead awareness campaigns for the locals. You can choose how you opt to have your donations used. I prefer to donate to them directly instead of bigger organizations like PETA and HSI.

convintageous You are wonderful. I just wanted to write bc I saw a dog walking in the road. I stopped, talked to some people on the street where I found him & they said he was picked up a week ago by the humane society but back out for 3 days alone this time. No collar, tags not neutered.

convintageous It’s a miniature dog, no one could catch him lol. So 2 hours later I had him in a crate & to the vet. It’s been a week, no one claimed him, my vet begged me to keep him, as he was clearly neglected & abused, which wasn’t necessary. I was already in love, it’s been 2 weeks now and I couldn’t imagine life without him.
