Hi! Can you please get toe box width at its widest and length measurements, please?
barbbarbbarb
@mattass93 So the length of the outsoles from the tip of the toe to the very back of the heel are exactly 12 inches - the length of the upper from the tip of the toe box to the back of the heel counter is right on 11.5 inches. The width of the outsole at its widest point in the for foot is 4.25 inches, and the width of the leather upper at that point is 4 inches

@mattass93 If it helps, I will say that the leather on these is really soft and pliable - it's not at all like the most of the super hard and thick leathers on most of Trumans other boots. For instance, I own 4 pairs of Truman boots -these, a pair in horsehide, a pair in rough out, and another in Olive wax flesh. all are size 8.5 and these are by far the most roomy - they're the only pair I can wear thick socks in comfortably.

@mattass93 Soft leather + an unstructured toe box mean they'll stretch to make room for a foot that's just a little to big after a little bit of wear - but if your foot is way too long or wide you'll just be out of luck

Darn. It's a shame you didn't wait for my reply I might have offered you more. Oh well
mattass93
@barbbarbbarb also, you wear men's boots? Interesting.

@mattass93 another user bought them before you. I unfortunately don’t have control over who pushes the buy button and when - gotta be quicker next time!
If you’re interested I have another pair of Olive Waxed Flesh listed - probably the coolest leather Horween has ever made
mattass93
@barbbarbbarb oh! I mistook the situation. My apologies.
barbbarbbarb
@mattass93 no worries! I get things purchased out from under me all the time too haha
mattass93
@barbbarbbarb so true. Also, I'd probably keep your olive boots too, if I were you. Do you have other boots that serve that purpose and style? I'd say to keep one solid lug, more rugged boot of medium height on deck, just like those.
barbbarbbarb
@mattass93 I unfortunately have more boots than I know what to do with
mattass93
@barbbarbbarb oh really? Then off with them! "I am now currently accepting donations at this time" Haha.
I'd say that the fact that you haven't worn them yet might mean you subconsciously like them less than others or the fit isn't your favorite.. Unless you're the type to not use your nice items because you treasure them, like my brother does with his Jordans. I do that with my jackets, so I get it.
