This is a genuine and very rare OAKLEY X-Metal piece, created in 1998. Serial Number: 2113 (see image of left temple). The X-Metal series has become synonymous with Oakley's desire to push the boundaries of what is possible. Investment casting titanium is no easy undertaking and very dangerous. This style was created in collaboration with Michael Jordan. You may notice what looks like a scratch on the frame on the inside left of the nose piece. This is an inconsistency created through the investment casting process. Each frame varies slightly because of this process and makes the entire X-Metal series so unique.
