These are GORGEOUS and were handmade by an artisan in Pittsburgh. The detailed workmanship is stunning. Unfortunately, the ear wire is approximately 14 gauge and my holes are 18 gauge. I was too enamored by their beauty to notice/care when I bought them. The larger gauge actually distributes the weight better and makes them more comfortable to wear, but they stretch my holes, so I very rarely wear them. They deserve to be out in the world getting shown off, not hiding in my jewelry box. They could also be worn through a tunnel gauge if you have larger holes.
