Unique Lariat Style Necklace

Vintage Gold tone necklace with lariat style front closure. Cameo style front. Could be a saint /Jesus but not sure. Was my grandmother’s who was very religious and had other religious jewelry. Not sure of age or metal content. Clasp works just fine. Total length when open (not counting part that hangs down) 17”.
