Strap attaches to purse with large ring through a large grommet. Grommets have the coach name and date of establishment on them. Purse has zipper closure. zipper pull is missing. You can find this at a craft or sewing store, or a shoe repair . Otherwise you can try contacting Coach. Inside of purse is a rosy color, no rips or tears but fabric use. Bag is made of genuine leather which naturally has spots , marks, stains, color differences. however this is a preowned bag so there are areas of use. The leather itself is in good condition. no cuts or rips. Inside has fabric use, but no rips or tears. Leather strap is woven which is not common, bag originally sold for 328.00. Bag has lots of detail and work that went into the construction. Bottom corners and front pockets are whip stitched and with the woven strap , it really shows how much work went into the bag.
